What’s the nicest or most random compliment you’ve received and remembered ?

For me some reason one memorable one is, someone telling me, they wish they had my style
and how stylish they think i am

I supposedly have "large but elegant hands" :)

My daughter has a long and elegant neck, her dad said so to her, but she misheard "elephant"... so the family joke is now about her elephant neck.

I was with my mum and sister in Edinburgh and a 20ish year old lad with his friends crossed the road and said gorgeous hair to me. As an overweight 44 year old I regarded myself as being largely invisible to 20year old lads so I was rather pleasantly taken aback. I'd dried my hair straight most my life and had been leaving it curly for a while at that point but still not terribly confident with it, so it was lovely.

It’s very common for men in their 20s to love women in their 40s. I get more attention from them now than I did back then!

I've had a dentist compliment my 'great dentition', an optician said my eyeballs were 'clear as a bell', and a gynecologist complimented the shape of my uterus😄

Someone I very much admire who has an incredible way of boiling down an argument and is an accomplished barrister once told me I have a gift for précis - I spend most of my time feeling incredibly stupid and inept, so that’s stuck with me. And people always seem shocked when I tell them how old I am - that’ll probably catch up with me overnight at some point.
