I always find this fascinating.

AI holidays
Period features
SUVs
Buying new baby clothes/decorating a nursery.

What else?

Define snobby.
Do you mean a lot of people say they don’t like the things? I have done AI holidays when DD was very small. I didn’t really enjoy them, tnoug( she did and I enjoyed that. I’d never book another. I think they are horrible and a bit pointless - not really restful and you don’t see much of the place you visit, or eat local food. Am I being snobby or just expressing an opinion?

Maddy70 · 18/01/2025 22:29

I hate AI holidays. I'm on holiday. I want to be waited on

But no ideas why anyone is snobby about decorating a nursery. noone needs to own an SUV unless you're a farmer or live inaccessibly

Adamante · 18/01/2025 22:30

Goodness, where to start! 😁

Lots of presents for your children at Christmas.
Holidays in the UAE
Cruises
Spending too much on a handbag

I think you love AI holidays then!?

You probably hate SC holidays?

DaftyLass · 18/01/2025 22:34

For a start: tattoos, Disney, any form of a Bully breed or doodle cross, sugar, social media, the smell of cannabis, people making plans spontaneously

If not liking countries or companies with appalling human rights records makes me snobby, I am totally okay with that.

Universities "Russell Group" or don't bother.

PizzaPunk · 18/01/2025 22:41

Poor grammar and punctuation.

I'm not sure if it's snobbery or if they just lack the intelligence to understand that English isn't everyone's first language, and that some people just struggle with these things 🤷‍♂️

I accept the town I live isn't exactly Kensington but its not a complete shit hole... and yes it does actually have some pretty decent schools.

Anyone that vapes - scum of the earth.
Fat people shouldn't be seen outside until sundown
