The Christmas tree is down!

Just taken down the main living room tree, absolute workout getting it back in the box and as usual I found a couple of stars once I'd packed away the decorations.

Trying to get all the trees down today so I can deep clean the house before New Years.

Anyone else just want their space back and taking decorations down today?

Not today, boxing day is for lazing around eating biscuits and cheese and quality street. I'll probably do it at the weekend though, as I do like a good tidy before the New Year.

I'm fighting the urge! Only not doing because family will think somethings wrong.

I've taken most of the things down but left the tree and the light up garland on the bannister, will get them over the next day or two

No. Today is only the second day of Christmas.

Ours will stay up until 12th Day of Christmas. It's beautiful, why rush to take it down? What a waste

No, it only went up on Sunday. It stays until new year.

As a child I wanted it to all stay up for ever and ever. Now I’m desperate to get rid! Not today though, probably the weekend. I have taken down the paper chains though, can’t keep ducking under them for days…

Why would it make you sad? Everyone has different traditions - there is no right or wrong.

Nope, we are enjoying the festivities. Tree will be down on the 3rd or 4th before school goes back on the 6th.

Hell no. It's only been up for 5 minutes. Ok 14 days but not long enough to justify all the work.
