If you used to buy the Now albums what number was your first one?

33 for me, brought on double cassette from good old Woolies.

I know they are viewed by many as being deeply uncool but individual albums were way too expensive for me as a pre-teen. I think they featured on all my teen Xmas lists too and I remember the adverts with Mark Goodier doing the voice over.

I still have a very soft spot for them, even though when I occasionally pick one up for a nosy at I have no idea who 99% of the tracklists are, but I don't think I'm their target audience anymore anyway!

Now 5 and hits 5 on double cassettes.

The first one on vinyl. It was just called Now! I'm that old.

@Fridgetapas me too and I think it was the first album I ever bought by myself. Oh the memories.

It was Now 38. I was about 10 and I got it for Christmas.

The first one I bought was Now 8, on double vinyl LP, from Boots in Bradford. Birthday vouchers.

Now 2 and now 3 I had on vinyl.

Now 32! Think it had the spice girls on. I still remember the thrill when I opened it on Christmas day!

Now 12, summer 1988. Bought with a “record voucher” 😃. Listened to it non stop all summer on my blue Walkman!

I was just talking about this to a friend the other day.

Mine was Now 11 (1988), and it was the double cassette format.

Now 29 on tape

All I remember is that it had Tubthumping by Chumbawumba as track 1 and after I'd played it 68 million times I never wanted to hear it again!

Think mine was now 33 on double tape which I bought in Our Price in Glasgow airport going on my first holiday abroad. I was 13.

No it was now 40, just looked it up.

33 was great, it had masses of britpop acts on it and some utterly crazy randomness to balance it out.

Yes it did. It had Hanson singing " where's the love" as one of the first few tracks and Disc 2 had Ewan McGregor's Choose Life.

Just read thru the track listing and was immediately transported back to that holiday!
