Who will win US Election - Gut feelings

I have been half following online and media coverage of the US Election. It is getting close now. What is your gut feeling on who is going to win?

About a month ago, I felt fairly confident that Kamala Harris would win (who I want to win). Now though I am not sure and the amount of rumour and almost conspiracy around it online seems to be reaching fever pitch.

If you had to place a bet (grand national style) who would you go for?

Agree!

Harris was always a long shot. She couldn't even seriously make a run for the Democrat nomination, she didn't make it past the first hurdle, the idea that she might win the presidential election was pie in the sky. If Democrats wouldn't choose her, why expect anyone else would?

I feel much calmer today, it's going to be Harris, it's going to be fine.

What have you seen / heard @TokyoSushi ?

Mostly just Twitter & polls, (I'm a huge 'news' follower) but I think some early voting is starting to have a sway on the narrative which is swinging back towards Harris.

No concrete evidence, just vibes (😄) and a gut feel, but I feel very calm. Hopefully I'm not eating my words on Wednesday morning!

Can Harris answer the question "What is a woman correctly"? If she is educated to know & answer "A woman is a biological born female" then she has my vote.

Also does Harris believe males should be competing in female sport? Trump is very clear that males do not have a place in female sport. And he's right.

Don't want to post a Daily Mail link but betting now going in favour of Harris.

Michael Moore (one of the few people who correctly predicted Trump's win in 2016) is calling it for Harris so... fingers crossed. Also made his documentary on Trump available on youtube. Depressing on multiple levels s There is loads of stuff I had just forgotten but it wasn't even that long ago.

@Meathrosie I see you think that women/ girls should be protected. I fully agree so please answer this question.
Which is worse a woman; being kicked out a sports competition by a MAN or dying because MEN decided she has no right to a save abortion/ medical care after miscarriage????
Btw. I am against men in women’ sports/ spaces but at the moment there are much more important issues at stake.
I hope that Americans elect Kamala Harris as Donald Trump will definitely not protect any women’s rights or democracy.
It does not mean that anybody should stop fighting for women’s rights to safe spaces/not allowing men in women sport. Unlike her opponent, Kamala Harris is not a dictator who will silence her critics.

Sadly there are more important issues right now.

I’ve just given up on polls as the margin of error seems too big a rely on.
I fear it might be Trump.,Praying for America in general and especially poll workers and election officials after what happened to them last time.

Once Harris was announced it felt too late.

All the signs on the ground suggest Harris has got this.

Her buoyant, upbeat, confident, happy and friendly demeanour. Contrasted with Trump's increasingly unhinged appearances, looking sulky and downcast like a toddler whose toy has been removed. The desperation behind his last few stunts.

The enormous contrast with the size and feel of their rallies. Hers, enormous, like his were in 2016, and enormously joyous and upbeat. His, small, sparsely attended, with numbers of people leaving early.

Even staunch Republicans are coming out and calling it for Harris.

Fingers crossed! I am hoping for a landslide.

All dems vote early by post. However, not long to know for sure. However, those reports about deranged democrats are so true. I found the US so divided and so toxic over the elections.

The women spaces. I think this is already gone for good. Recently visited and all the toilets in the city I was were gender neutral. Was having a very intimate conversation with my DD and suddenly saw a man starring and listening to our conversation. Argggg! Why do we need to share toilet spaces with man?. This was not a transgender person it was a bloody man.

Get real. The National Guard are on standby in several states and DC businesses are already boarding up in case things turn violent, and we all know who gets violent and throws their toys out of the pram when election results don't go their way.
