I'm in the very fortunate position of being able to invest a bit in some useful things.

I'm wondering about an air fryer. Would that be a good choice, would you say?

What else might be good?

So far I've got:
A really good new mixing bowl!!!!!
Possibly an air fryer
Possibly a new waterproof coat

Get the coat, or coats.

far and away my best purchases last year were two seasalt knee length coats.

the padded lined one for cold relatively cold days.
the unlined one for wet but not freezing days.

They won’t be what you’re looking for, but coats that actually do what you want them to - game changing.

Patagonia down zip up hoodie, if you have a life where you want a warm, super light easy wear extra layer.

Quakity kitchen knife and sharpener. The crazy Japanese stuff is in its own league.

Even better, paying someone else to do a deep clean - carpets, windows, the oven, inside kitchen cupboards, the lot.

I’ve got a couple of Sistema boxes, but I really want something with tiers.

Have got 2 Seasalt waterproof coats, one Janelle and one lighter weight one, but neither are perfect for me.

A good SPF winter foundation
Decent food mixer/blender combo
A wake up alarm that makes either tea or coffee, actually should have put this first.

If we had the money, a garden sauna but that's not for a couple of years, I will have decided on one by then (more something to aim for)

An excellent sound but small speaker in kitchen to cast to

Portable heating/air conditioning unit

I can go on....

A dishwasher, or a downstairs toilet

I highly recommend the little Marshal speaker. In fact, I’m very tempted to get another at some point.

One of those multi-functional air fryers/slow cooker/rice cooker/everything else that I can’t think of right now!

Or maybe I’d bulk buy as many sessions as possible with a cleaner.

Is this a real thing?! I will scrimp and save to get one if so!

Outdoor electric socket and lights properly fitted by an electrician so no trailing leads. And a water feature, just a smallish waterfall one.

American fridge freezer.
Robot garden mower.
New hall rug.
Plastic storage boxes

There are a few others, worth a nose round the quality on most babipur stock is excellent.

Coats wise - what’s not quite right?
Didrikson are knock out, but don’t quite fit me right.

This one made me giggle as I wondered if one of them might be able to serve both purposes!

Thanks @ScaryM0nster I want a tiered one though, rather than sections all in one layer. There are lots on Amazon but I’d rather buy something recommended.

Ring video doorbell, ninja air frier, a good waterproof coat, tap with inbuilt water filter.

She can still do all this but her life will be easier and more stress free while doing so.

Well, what a charmer you seem to be. I asked for recommendations for things to buy. I’m perfectly capable of going out for dinner and having some fun as well, thanks.

Maybe we should draw up a patent for a new combi machine?
