Glasgow/Edinburgh M8!

Anywhere with narrow mountain roads and no barriers - Kefalonia springs to mind.

Big cities don't bother me, I learnt to drive in east London!

New places

Marrakesh

The countryside! Much prefer driving in a city or town.

Anywhere that there's snow.

The elevated section of the M5 between the Portishead and Clevedon junctions.

Through mountain fog and driving rain at twilight, it’s the worst.

I hate driving in a city.
Give me a country lane any day.

I like motorway driving. Nice and easy. I do not like city driving: unfamiliar one way systems, bus gates, pedestrians weaving through slow moving traffic. So stressful!

Paris. Passing the Arc de Triomph, I thought we were actually going to die. Gritted my teeth and braced for the bang the whole time.

Anywhere with trams

Hackney and Reading

Miami. I can’t bear those 6 lane highways, and have to leave it to my husband. Pathetic, but there we are.

Unlit country lanes at night, with trees on both sides.

I'm a confident driver but those two places and also Seville, shit me up a bit!

Cardiff. Too many words on too many signs. Although easier now I have a satnav!

This. Nothing more terrifying than a narrow winding road between high hedges where cars hurtle at 60mph and you have seconds to pull into a bush.

But when you reach the wide, straight, clear A roads it goes down to 40 😂 make it make sense

Any large town with a confusing one-way system. I'm looking at you Maidstone.
