I always do ours with baked beans for the kids and sketti hoops for me (none bb eater)

My mate has hers with bread and butter 😱

We put peas and carrot in the pie, so if there's going to be a aside it'll be something like cabbage. Mainly not though. I do like raw onion on the side sometimes, that's nice. Not sure where I got that from!

Peas or broccoli. I like pickled cabbage but don't usually have it it in and I don't see what beans add (all soft)

I've always thought it was a self contained dish, much like Shepherd's Pie. All the veg are already in there and it's topped with mash.
