Yes! This is a real possibility. Or a Prosecco fountain perhaps.

DD thinks it might actually be the 'tap' as in the bathwater cascades, fountain style into the bath from its peak....

I assumed it was an ornate urn with the ashes of the ancestors in it. Have a bath, exfoliate with a bit of Great Auntie Mavis.

The toilet in the middle of the kitchen, opposite the gold belfast sink - yikes!

saltycashew · 23/08/2024 19:08

“Located within the Admiral Lord Nelson catchment area.”

Bloody hell. I think Admiral Lord Nelson himself lived there Confused

CountryShepherd · 23/08/2024 19:09

This property has many benefits and would be popular for all types of buyers

No. No, it wouldn't.

dayswithaY · 23/08/2024 19:09

So, when the estate agent suggested they paint it magnolia and take down all the gold satin sheets in order to get viewers in, I’m guessing they ignored them?

pictoosh · 23/08/2024 19:10

Desrae · 23/08/2024 18:53

Got something of the caravan about it.

I see that too.😆

Whoever has created this has done it very lovingly. It may not be to my (or indeed anyone's) taste...but it should be seen and appreciated.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 23/08/2024 18:06

Oh my.

This

CamCurls · 23/08/2024 19:11

Is it real? Can AI be made to do this with house photos? Like the obviously make believe gardens that crop up on Facebook. Would an estate agent do this for the clicks?

viques · 23/08/2024 19:12

I wonder how many people have come a cropper on that totally invisible step in the kitchen? I mean it’s not helped by the fact that you would need to wear sunglasses to avoid permanent retinal damage.

Sparrowball · 23/08/2024 19:13

I can't play the video, does it show the toilet off the kitchen?

Diyextension · 23/08/2024 19:13

Thats the biggest yucca ive ever seen …….impressive

selldonaterecycle · 23/08/2024 19:13

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when the estate agent was doing the valuation and the photographer too. Wonder if they managed to keep a straight face? Speechless!

BiscuityBoyle · 23/08/2024 19:13

GymClassHeroes · 23/08/2024 18:17

Not my taste but the owners know what they like and do it with flair!

Exactly. They love it, clearly and they aren’t holding back. Good luck to them.

housethatbuiltme · 23/08/2024 19:15

I actually think it has lots of potential.

I'm not a fan of many of the personal items but I love the dear head, bulls head and bed and wood furniture.

Once the rest (laugh, the gold tenting, all the statues etc...) is removed it all probably quite nice.

BurntBroccoli · 23/08/2024 19:16

The gold tiles in the kitchen!

I do actually like the outside of the house though.

Picoloangel · 23/08/2024 19:16

Do you think they have a bulldog? Just a stab in the dark

BurntBroccoli · 23/08/2024 19:17

PetrichorSoul · 23/08/2024 18:13

I actually love it Grin

I’d never buy it or live in it but it’s got personality. The whole place looks like a sex dungeon and I’m loving the regal placement of the loo.

Excellent find OP, thanks for sharing.

Yes those are the words I was looking for 'sex dungeon'!

tolerable · 23/08/2024 19:17

The (reeeaaaahhl)diamond wall decor n kitchen loveshack 'inscriptshun"

TheUsualChaos · 23/08/2024 19:18

It's like Changing Rooms from the 1990s came and did every single room.

chergar · 23/08/2024 19:18

Has the downstairs toilet not got a sink? So you would need to wash your hands in the kitchen sink after using the toilet

Min133 · 23/08/2024 18:17

Looks like something out of Laurence Llewellyn Bowen's Outrageous Homes. Not to my taste but respect to someone going all out to make their home perfect for them. Perhaps they've got the decorating bug and want to buy a new home to do it all over again!

Agree with this. They've stuck to a romantic Renaissance theme and actually done it quite well.

Very glad I don't have to keep it clean though.

Desrae · 23/08/2024 19:21

Didnt know Tony Montana came back to life and moved to Pompey. It's like a low budget Scarface film set.

itsgettingweird · 23/08/2024 19:22

NoLongerATeacher · 23/08/2024 18:18

It’s near me I’ve just sent it my son! It’s very clean

Was going to say I've driven past this house numerous times and admired the green.

Never in a million years did I imagine the interior 😂

Remove all that though and they are decent sized houses in a good location!

thekrakenhasgone · 23/08/2024 19:22

The biggest delusions of grandeur house I've ever seen

Watermelodious · 23/08/2024 19:23

I kind of love it. But couldn't live it.
Just having to stare at my lovely, bare but coloured walls to reassure my lizard brain that no, I don't live there.

OccasionalHope · 23/08/2024 19:23

I hate the black kitchen and bathroom but quite like the rest, although there.s just a bit too much of everything. Maybe a slightly toned down version would work. And the line doors are a total letdown. I like the outside walls.
