Radical Islam is a doctrine that includes several beliefs, including:
• Rejection of other ideologies 
Radical Islam rejects ideologies other than Islam, such as capitalism, democracy, communism, and socialism, as having failed. 


• Opposition to secularism 
Radical Islam rejects semi-secular regimes for neglecting Islam. 


• Civilian immunity 
Radical Islam holds that non-believers and apostates do not have civilian immunity and can be killed as collective punishment for perceived wrongs against Muslims. 


• Literal interpretation 
Radical Islam believes that the primary sources of Islam, the Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah, should be interpreted literally and originally. 


• Elimination of non-Islamic influences 
Radical Islam believes that non-Islamic influences should be removed from all aspects of Muslim life. 


• Return to Islam 
Radical Islam believes that Muslim-majority countries should return to the fundamentals of Islam and become Islamic states. 


• Jihad 
Radical Islam defines jihad as a continuous struggle to achieve "God's just order in the world". This conception of jihad doesn't distinguish between offensive and defensive jihad
