Anyone else loving the weather?

I'm so enjoying the cooler than normal weather. I can spend more time in the garden without getting hot and sweaty. Love sleeping in a cool bed. Can go for nice long walks. Less noise from neighbours. Win. Win.

I usually love the sunny and hot weather, but lately I've been enjoying the cooler weather and being able to sleep. Guessing it's one of the signs of peri kicking in😫

Yes, I know we're lucky!

Breezy today S London. Hoping to get lots of towels washed and dried 👍

Ooh I’m not a fan of the wind at all. Going to an outdoor event by the river today and the wind will take the edge off the temperatures and make it unpleasant to sit out in.

It's the wind that's spoiling it here too. We actually have what looks like a dry day for once but it's soooo cold because of the wind. It feels cooler than it did in Autumn.

I love a slightly cloudy day. And rain at night.
sunshine irritates me for some reason 😂

The wind has blown some of my pots over and blown a garden chair across the lawn.

On a brighter note, nature's tumble dryer is getting my washing nice and dry.

It's definitely windier this year. It's the constant grey. No lasting sunshine. The kind you know you can luxuriate in without getting a bit nippy, or rained on.

I popped my electric blanket on last night I was freezing under the summer duvet and dh was already snoring so I switched sit on to warm me up to sleep.
May go back to winter duvet ( I've already swapped it twice!)

I’m over the moon. 12° and pissing down. Bring on the miserable weather on school holidays! NOrth Scotland.

I'm a bit sad that my garden flowers aren't blooming.
This time last year they were all in full bloom, bright and colourful.
This year none of them are. It's not warm enough to give them the signal to bloom. I think they think it's still spring.
It's blowing an absolute gale here today and I'm feeling cold with a cardigan and trousers on. Opened my back door to hang washing out and all my birthday cards flew off the sideboard from the sheer gust of wind that rushed through the house upon opening the door, that's how windy it is! And it's a cold wind too. Tomorrow's forecast is rain for every hour of the entire day! And I'm in the South East where its generally a bit milder than the rest of the country.
Going on a pre-booked camping holiday to Cornwall in 2 weeks with the kids and suddenly starting to dread it.....the realisation that it's not going to go from cold wet and windy like this to hot sunny weather in 2 weeks time😒

We’ve had 48 mph wind gusts here today. Pots blown over, roses broken, hydrangeas getting battered as we’ve had very heavy showers too.
It looks like autumn with the amount of leaves down.
Im definitely not enjoying it

My heating is set to 18 in the winter, and I wear an oodie to have it that low. So no, it’s not lovely.

I also thought it felt like late September this evening. Chilly evening again

My car suggested it was 20c this afternoon.
However it didn't take into account the cold wind that was whipping round the playground and the drizzle in the air. It felt much colder.

It's utterly shit. About to head out on a scout activity wearing a T-shirt, hoodie and a dry robe with waterproof walking boots. This is not summer.

It's so dark, windy and wet. Not very warm either. Seems like late October.

I've renamed the month - juber. We are in a ber month.

I am still wearing jumpers, make far too many hot chocolates instead of ice cream and haven't had a nice day out in months.

Same here. Another day another jumper. I swear I've worn the same clothing for 95% of the last year.

Juber is the most accurate description I've read. Definitely a 'ber' month.

I've put the garden chair cushions back in the cupboard I store them in over winter. It feels pointless having them out because the sunny days are few and far between at the moment. Looking at the weather for next week it isn't looking any better either.

The wind is making it feel colder than it actually is today though because in the sunshine and when it isn't blowing it's actually pleasant.

Yep rain again with brief interludes of sun. 16 degrees in the house and going to have to put boots on instead of sandals to go out. Washing sitting sadly in the basket. Sucks.

It was supposed to rain yesterday but not today!! The forecast has changed.
so frustrating- outdoor plans ruined again.
