I'll go first ...

B&M is over rated

Most of the home decor is tacky
I can get cleaning products at in the supermarket without a separate trip.
It's not super cheap like people say when you really compare the prices

MN should stop deleting threads when posters just don’t like the unanimous feedback that they are BU, so the post is withdrawn due to privacy concerns/OP won’t be back/ could be outing

Stand by your nonsense and own your unreasonableness!

Women who have unplanned pregnancies should be admired not vilified for giving their baby up for adoption. It should be always the third option. This would make the lives of infertile couples immeasurably happier and the birth mother should feel pride for her sacrifice, not judged like she is today. The irony is if she was paid and the couple were rich celebrities or gay men she would be an angel.

Or possibly teaching the children not to hit their newborn sibling, stamp on the cat, etc.

No, there are much better, more intelligent ways of doing that (hitting to teach them not to hit, lol). People who really, really want to be able to get at their kids' bums when they're in high emotion and get angry when told that they can't? Fucked up. Learn some actual parenting techniques and take the fetish to a consenting adult.

This! There’s a poster in particular who makes it her business to come and attack a particular subset of women, when she’s recognised and called out she reports all the posts calling her out. It’s so infuriating.

30 yo men who buy ridiculous gaming chairs and spend all evening "on line gaming" are pathetic sad f*cks - silly spoilt little boys - not what adult women are looking for....and they have no idea how they come across!

Adult women can write the word 'fuck' on the internet.

you would like to see my severally disabled son sent off somewhere where he won't be cared for and forced to do things he can't actually do? Wow. You're nice.

If your severely disabled son will never be part of the workforce due to his severe medical conditions (we are not talking ADHD or asthma), as you state, then no, he will not join the national service. FFS some people are so literal!

Dancingonthemoonlight · 21/05/2024 19:08

If your going to own a small yappy rat dog the realise that they too need to go for walks at least twice a day.... glares at all of my neighbours with stupid yappy rats that yap all day long inside the houses and as soon as they get on their back garden

Covidwoes · 21/05/2024 19:08

Massive bows on newborn baby girls are horrible.

Peternabbit · 21/05/2024 19:09

Drinking cows breast milk is weird.
Cows make milk to feed their calf's, not humans.

ClairemacL · 21/05/2024 19:10

Weight loss surgery is cheating.

Apply it retrospectively, but only to those who want it to be compulsory for under 26s. If you think it's good enough for a child or young person, it's good enough for you too.

When I was young enough to be in the catchment I stated, I said the same about National Service and would happily have paused my career to do this. I'm too old now, but my children are in the catchment (hypothetical age), and they would do it too. Bring back some national pride.

ManilowBarry · 21/05/2024 19:15

Dungarees on mature women make them look like either Hale or Pace.

ilovesooty · 21/05/2024 18:55

I like being single. I don't want a relationship. I've never wanted children and have never regretted being child free. I disagree with @SabreIsMyFave .

Same. But I guess we're kidding ourselves and secretly want to give up time and peace for a man.

Nah, you've committed yourself now. The state run National Service will be the one to decide whether you're the wrong age to participate, not you. I'm sure they can find you something useful to do, or at the very least something that will teach you a few lessons about signing people up for things you think you can get out of because of your age. Bring back some national pride.

Shaving your pubes is weird and unhealthy and men who prefer it or expect it are creepy.

Yes. It suggests they prefer you to look prepubescent.

The planet would be a far better place without humans.

I really really agree with this.

godlikeAI · 21/05/2024 19:22

Love Actually is a terrible movie

Nicholas Cage, Kevin Costner, Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell should have found careers that were not acting. Dreadful, all of them

thea1145 · 21/05/2024 19:23

Using the word 'Super' to replace 'Very' and 'Really' as an adverb 🙄

OneWorldly4 · 21/05/2024 19:24

RawCarrotsAndSaladcream · 21/05/2024 14:22

Bring back national service, so if you choose to come to our country (up to age 26) or were born here, you do our national service and pledge your allegiance this country. This is everyone, without exception.

Edited

You go first, I'll be right behind.....🙄

Maverickess · 21/05/2024 19:24

People who could never be alone because of their own insecurities and project that onto people who genuinely are happy on their own by telling them they secretly and desperately want to be in a relationship and are kidding themselves - because that's how they'd be if they were single. I mean I could go further and say that I think most people in couples secretly wish they were stronger and could hack being single, and are so insecure in their relationship that they view any single woman as a threat and that's where it comes from, because that's how I felt in a couple........ But I won't 😉.

I got divorced 7 years ago. I've not dated since because I much prefer my life now. I've shock turned down men. They seem to think I'm attractive despite my botox.
One of the reasons I got divorced was ex-h wanted children and I didn't. Oh, and I love my career (I was a stay at home wife when I was married and bored shitless)

If that poster and I met one of us would burst into flames.....

AStepAtaTime · 21/05/2024 19:26

Babies should not have their ears pierced. No need.

Slothsandspiderman · 21/05/2024 19:26

IKEA Malm drawers are the best we’ve had - lasted 3 moves and 12yrs. Paid a lot more for others that have been shite

It might be worth noting that that post (which was right about smacking being shit parenting, let's give it that) received enthusiastic approval from a poster called Pettyman.

Trans women are men
Piercing a child's ears is child abuse
Being fat is a choice (excluding disability / medication)
The NHS shouldn't be treated as a scared cow
NT kids should be capable of sitting at a dinner table without a screen (especially in restaurants)
