Turnout was appalling across the board but my area was dire.

Also it wasn't the close call you'd expect in some areas.
It was in some (the ones Braverman like to frequent as rich areas!) but in others Labour have gained in number of votes even if not overall votes.

Will be very interesting GE time where we go.

In some ways it turning red therefore is even more significant. It doesn't necessarily mean we can extrapolate to neighbouring constituencies such as Goves and Hunts.

You can be on t electoral roll in more than one ward. I was as a student. Got to vote for my ILEA candidate as well as GLC candidate at Uni, rather than waste an anti-Tory vote at home.
