Is she flogging a mobile phone dangling thingy? 🤔🤣that’s all I saw.

She looks the same as always, possibly a bit grumpy so at a push nasolabial folds?

Sharon Osbourne looked amazing, she went too far. Now looks awful, but how old is she? It’s impossible to hold onto looks forever.

Solgrass · 21/04/2024 18:04

Well I think we will all just have to wait and see. I don’t think her Netflix show will be on for a while and she doesn’t do any live tv at the moment but I’m now thinking veneers and a wee bit of filler for going stateside

@Myglassishalffullish , I think newspapers now rely heavily on spellcheckers.

This is an interesting article on fillers........https://www.oumere.com/blogs/news/how-fillers-make-you-look-older-and-cause-you-to-age-faster

What a lovely post 🙄 Haven’t we moved on from criticising women’s appearance in 2024?

Agree, this isn't progressive or kind.

ScubaDivingSpiderMonkey · 21/04/2024 18:14

That husband of hers gives me the creeps.

I wouldn’t be averse to some tweaks if I had the money but when I see people like Holly W who could afford the very best but still end up looking odd, it puts me off.

This is it. They don't look good, they look strange. They all have the same strange look. Maybe they're not trying to look young or good, just have the plastic "I have money" look? Because otherwise I don't get it. They look like those puppets off spitting image.

She definitely has that filler smile, what has she done to herself..

AmyDudley · 21/04/2024 18:21

I'm not a huge fan of Holly as a presenter, but she looks fine to me, can't see any difference in fact. She's a lovely looking woman. I like her coat too.

It’s called pulling a woman up on criticising a fellow woman for her appearance.

you might not like x y or z, and you can of course have any option or think what you like, but keep it in your head if you wouldn’t say it to their face.

we DONT have the right to criticise other women for how they look.

Solgrass · 21/04/2024 12:59

I’m all for tweaks! But only if it looks better. I don’t think this looks good on her

Honestly, I can't see any difference from what she normally looks like. Which is very gorgeous. So glad I'm not famous, the DM would have a field day choosing from gazillions of snapshots of me looking really rough on a daily basis!

"minding her own business" ffs she called the photographers. Like each and every one of the celebrities do. How are people naive to this? This is indeed a public forum on the internet, not a support group and people can ask any question they want. Who made you the guardian of the web?

Ha ok, the person I commented to told someone not to comment on stuff…. Does that mean they’re the guardian of the web? Whether she called them or not I’m sure it wasn’t for people to comment on her looks.

It was just such a nothing thing. Didn’t affect anyone’s lives. So odd

It was a huge contrast with Beckham and some other big names queuing for hours with the public, 'though.

It made them look arrogant and self-important, when their show relied on them appearing approachable and likeable. And the media were just waiting for some cracks to show, I think.

JiraffDeSaki · 21/04/2024 19:46

Well I've just ordered one of those phone lanyard things, I forgot there is a way to avoid carrying a bag or having a phone in your pocket pull your bloody trousers down when walking the doc (sic). Brilliant, cheers OP.

Holly would look amazing in a bin bag with a parsnip strapped to her head though, wouldn't she.

Personally I don’t agree with this. I do agree that we should not comment on an individual’s natural appearance, I.e. what they were born with. But I think we should be able to have an opinion on fashion tastes and choices esp when the person has a team if ‘experts’ advising them and spends copious amounts of money wanting to look a certain way.

It's perfectly possible to have a pretty robust and critical conversation about fashion and cosmetic procedures without starting a thread to say 'Ooh look at her! What's she done to her face?!' though, isn't it? I think it's terrible that the fashion industry, social media, peer pressure and general public scrutiny make women feel the need to conform to such images of youth and beauty. Pointing out how bad individual women look afterwards does the opposite of reducing that self-consciousness though, doesn't it?

No it does the opposite. If holly wants a trout pout and then there is a bit of social media backlash afterwards then the sheeple may think twice about getting it done. which would be a good thing.

it’s a bit hard to discuss the good and bad of cosmetic procedures, which are controversial anyway, without drawing on teal life examples.

i mean if she was sporting a big tattoo of a spiders web on her face I’m sure you’d have something to say about it. This isn’t any different as she’s chosen to have it done.
