I've just watched Legends of the fall again and yet again in a complete sobbing mess, another was the champwhich I've refused to watch in about 20 years as it gets me in such a state.
What films make you bawl like a baby?

About Time - the beach scene. I can’t even explain it to people without crying. 🙈🙄🤣

Pinkl · 13/04/2024 22:52

Beaches - I’ve cried every single time I’ve watched it.

Steel Magnolias
The Green Mile
Beaches
Watership Down
My Sister's Keeper

I love a good snotty sob fest. Very cathartic.

The Hours. When Julianne Moore bakes the cake, I start crying and don't stop until the end.

Dumbo. Him being separated from his Mum has made me cry for the last 30 years:

BarbRoyle · 13/04/2024 22:53

Mask (Cher - not Jim Carrey!)

OppsUpsSide · 13/04/2024 22:53

Independence Day - Just talking about it makes me cry

Comfysock · 13/04/2024 22:54

The Railway Children...
At the end when Bobby wanders to the train station as she has a strange feeling.
"Daddy...that's my Daddy" 😭

BulbasaurusRex · 13/04/2024 22:57

Haven't seen it for years, but Big Fish used to make me cry something rotten.

About Time
Interstellar (after the water planet)

Just noticed there's a strong parent-child theme with all of these 😂

FriedGold · 13/04/2024 22:57

The Fault in our Stars
Titanic

Doratheexplorer1 · 13/04/2024 23:02

Seven Pounds. Rosario Dawson is absolutely divine in this film - (although I can’t really stand Will Smith anymore. He was once a favourite actor of mine).

Doratheexplorer1 · 13/04/2024 23:03

EmmaOvary · 13/04/2024 23:01

This. It’s the music. The old man. The little boy. 🥺
