When did your kids stop calling you mummy?

Dd is 7 and for a while I’ve been mum. Tonight as I gave her dinner she said thanks mummy, and inside I was weeping! Obviously didn’t say anything to her otherwise it would be omg mum stop 😂

I want to be mummy for years yet! Didn’t realise how much I loved it.

I think she was about 5 or 6 when she started calling me Mum. As the parent of a teenager I'm currently usually known as bro, bruh, or my first name 🙃

Mine call me Mum if anyone is around but Mummy when it's just us. I'm exactly the same with my own Mother and she's in her 80s.
