I live near a place called Pity Me.
I've visited Twatt in Orkney.
Some people from our running club took part in a recent race near Shittlehope.

There's a Flesh Hovel Lane near Loughborough, it always sounds disgusting

There's a needless alley in Birmingham city centre. Always made me smile.

Fingringhoe gets me everytime we drive through it! Also Turkey Cock Lane! I'm such a child! And for some reason I always get giggles when seeing the sign for The Alconburys and The Stukeleys (sp) just off the A1. Think it reminds me of Bridget Jones!

You might be interested to know that Dull, in Scotland, is twinned with Boring, Oregon, USA and Bland, in Australia.

There’s a place called Scratchy Bottom on the Dorset coast. Not so much a village, more the dip in a very steep footpath.

I live near Cockett, the pub is called the Cockett Inn. Thankfully there isn't a school called Cockett Upper.

This road is in the same village on the edge of Birmingham as Mearse Lane - which I always read in the style of Ricky Tomlinson!
