God she's awful. Haven't watched for a long time but just turned it on and caught her interviewing the lovely Adele Roberts. Thought it was a good interview until the very end when she's given a birthday cake and Lorraine says 'and you can eat all of that cake, you're so tiny, you need to eat'

Fuck me! Adeles in recovery from bowel cancer, has a stoma. As an IBD patient it boils my blood when people think its OK to comment on my weight. Imagine Lorraine saying to someone 'you can't eat that cake, you're so big, you need to stop eating'.

It's reminded me why I don't watch her.

I just seen this and also thought it was inappropriate, I think there’ll be a lot of complaints.

Haven’t seen this and I thought it was just me who finds her insufferable. The fawning from journalists and other broadcasters of her and her book is nauseating and hard to understand.

And the way she avoided paying tax by saying her Lorraine kelly persona on tv isnt the same as the real Lorraine kelly, well fuck me

Her programme to me is like something that would be on in the background in a care home and I have no idea how it is still around.

It also minimises anything gut related and how hard it must be to maintain a suitable diet. I'm pretty sure the doctors didn't tell her to stuff her face with rich cake. Poor Adele.

She's a horrifically rude woman. Don't know why she's allowed on the TV.

I met her many years ago before she was "famous" - her networking skills were ruthless and efficient. She had you sussed in about 30 seconds as to whether you could be of use to her and her career or not. If you weren't any good to her you were ignored from then on - the setting was irrelevant. I found it very rude and inappropriate actually. Just shows where a game plan and determination can get you although she trod on a lot of toes to get there.

I didn’t see it but yes that’s very rude but don’t think people don’t say it the other way round as they absolutely do.

Not quite in the way pp laid out. She argued the relationship she had with ITV was not employer / employee and she was a freelancer, this subject to different tax etc. It still doesn't sit right when the rich try and shirk their responsibilities by these "loopholes" imo though. Yet she will wax lyrical about the state of the country while trying to pay in as little as possible.

Can't get passed the fawning, nauseating interview with Eddie Izzard, where she went all teary at 'Suzy'
Her daughter is becoming a bit of a Nepo baby so we have that to look forward to

That's horrendous?! What a cow!! Never ever comment on people's weight/size and eating, as someone who experiences this literally every day it's horrendous, I can't believe she did that to someone with a known public medical history like that too?!

Can't be doing with her so don't watch. But
my husband is also in recovery from bowel cancer and has a stoma.I would be stonkingly mad if I heard someone say that to him and they'd know it. Even more inappropriate to say it on national TV where it's not easy to respond in a way I would deem necessary.

I can’t stand her, she’s such a bitch. Sadly this doesn’t surprise me 😡

I have never taken to the woman.
