God she's awful. Haven't watched for a long time but just turned it on and caught her interviewing the lovely Adele Roberts. Thought it was a good interview until the very end when she's given a birthday cake and Lorraine says 'and you can eat all of that cake, you're so tiny, you need to eat'

Fuck me! Adeles in recovery from bowel cancer, has a stoma. As an IBD patient it boils my blood when people think its OK to comment on my weight. Imagine Lorraine saying to someone 'you can't eat that cake, you're so big, you need to stop eating'.

It's reminded me why I don't watch her.

Oh God, the poor Chawner Family from the X Factor auditions, none of them very bright, all of them very fat, perfect fodder for Lorraine to encourage others to laugh and point at them. She didn't give a shit about those two teenage girls who were over 20 stone, or their parents.

Yes, definitely a problem with the viewers thinking it was an extremely shitty thing to say to a women who survived bowel cancer.

My lovely mum died of bowel cancer and lost half her body weight in the year before she died. If someone has suggested she needed to eat more cake they would be eating dirt.

I don’t watch her. Turn over if she’s on. But I hear how much viewers like her and it baffles me. This thread is refreshing to find others don’t like her.

She’s woeful and always has been. I can’t stand her false “ och I’m just a wee wifey from next door” routine just stopping for a cuppa and a blether. She just acts so fake and her giggle is ridiculous. Like she’s trying to be quirky. Gives me Cilla Black vibes pretending to be like every woman but she’s a dominating, nosey pretty unkind woman

My aunty has always hated her. She says that when Lorraine had her daughter she would say, “oh it was a doddle! What are women talking about? Birth? Easy! Babies? No bother!” Then she had a miscarriage… My aunty never had a child (miscarriages) & always felt that Lorraine learned the hard way.
