God she's awful. Haven't watched for a long time but just turned it on and caught her interviewing the lovely Adele Roberts. Thought it was a good interview until the very end when she's given a birthday cake and Lorraine says 'and you can eat all of that cake, you're so tiny, you need to eat'

Fuck me! Adeles in recovery from bowel cancer, has a stoma. As an IBD patient it boils my blood when people think its OK to comment on my weight. Imagine Lorraine saying to someone 'you can't eat that cake, you're so big, you need to stop eating'.

It's reminded me why I don't watch her.

Why do you think Cilla or LK have exaggerated accents? I actually think it's the opposite- their accents are actually not as strong as people who actually live in Liverpool or Glasgow because they have moderated them for TV and by moving away from their hometowns and mixing with people with more 'standard English' accents in the TV word. I actually struggle to understand some of the older more broad members of Dh's family from Glasgow! I'm not sure about Danny Dyer- can't say I know any cockneys.

I never liked her as a TV personality, thought she was totally up herself.
Fairly recently spent weeks of her visiting my workplace everyday for her own personal reasons and she was absolutely lovely, kind and gracious to every single person she came across. Not one person had a bad word to say about her after it all. And she was there for hours a day every day for weeks.
Still find her TV presence annoying but as a real person she was incredibly sweet.

And just to add. This was not a situation where she had anything to gain financially or in her career.

Hahaha. I can see why you would think that I am Lorraine Kelly.

All I can say is I work in the NHS in Scotland and met her in that capacity. She did tweet about it herself at the time. She wasn't the patient.

Honestly, I wasn't the only person it that was shocked by how she actually was over an extended period of time. I'm sure you can imagine impressing a bunch of Scottish women who think you're an arse is no mean feat 🤣

There's something decidedly improper about the woman, she must have so much dirt on someone big or something to still hog that morning slot. If I so much as sniff her phoney simpering to some thicko celeb the tv goes straight off.

Fern has gone onto the big brother house. She’d be much better at presenting.

She comes across as very false. She's never that interested in her guests only in what she can say to make herself look good. She never comes across as genuinely kind or sincere.
To say that to someone who has been through so much is unforgiveable but not surprising that it came out of Lorraine's mouth sadly.
