How could it be?
It's a sign of being well taught. Do you realise how many children right now leave primary school unable to even read?. Let alone understand spelling and grammar!
I would go so far as to say, trying to say poor spag is a sign of weak intellect is a sign of weak intellect in itself. Because with the Internet we all know about undiagnosed sen and the crap UK education system.

I was definitely #teamfinger until I done what we were warned not to do and that was play about with the brightness etc. on Mr Halliwell's fingenis pic.

My daughter has dyslexia. Her spag is weak, her spelling is weak but she can write a very interesting story, far more intriguing than her straight 9s grammar school sister.

I'm not saying he's thick because of poor spag. He's just boring because he is.
