Did anyone notice the bit in the texts where he says that she seems to be criticising his life choices and she says “Nannies?”. I thought that was quite interesting. I read some interview in which he went on about how he always tries to pick his child up from school when he’s not away with work, but that will only be the child he has with Geri of course (and I am sure that is also bulllshit).

I dunno. I think there's a lot of messages missing as the ones leaked refer to things that aren't actually shown. She makes comments about not wanting to listen to him wank and alludes to it not being enjoyable as there's no touching. He mentions not knowing where the boundary is as there never used to be one. To me it reads as classic affair / affair aftermath stuff. She does a lot of carrot dangling too. If my boss asked me what I was wearing I absolutely wouldn't be telling him pjs with nothing underneath.

I'm not saying he isn't a letch because he clearly is. I'm quite shocked by how needy he comes across as would have assumed he'd have multiple women to satiate his desires.

This is not the first thread about CH I've been on where it quickly gets down to 'unlucky Geri'.

I think it's depressing. The man has done wrong in this instance. But we seem to love to see a woman brought low don't we.

There was a report that she has rejected a £600k offer to make it go away from Horner. Don't know if that is accurate.

I do also think that all the “Ask yourself what Geri would think?” stuff is a tad too conveniently placed in an effort to cast the PA in a better light when the messages went public, but I do respect her right to tell him to stop when she decided to end the affair.

That said, to be honest I am less interested in whether or not what he did was inappropriate vis à vis the PA than I am in the fact that he has turned out to be a sleazy cheater.

I understand that the lawyer was chosen by the Thai individual who owns 51% of the racing team and wants to keep Horner. Red Bull, who own the other 49%, apparently want him out.
