How can I make this 'Bulge Cake' look more realistic?

Don't ask but I made this cake on request. I am not a baker, just someone who makes cakes for friend's birthdays. This is for a friend but he's closer to other friends than me and they asked me for this design.

I wanted to do the trousers/shorts grey but I couldn't get the colour right so decided on white.

I was thinking, could I put some creases in somehow? So it looks a bit less 'cartoony'?
Would you know what it was meant to be?

(Yes I've name changed). It's only a bit of fun, people know I am not a cake decorator! I've made 'novelty' cakes for a few different people but how 'wrong' they look is just part of it!

I love your cakes. They are great fun. I used to make a lot of cakes for the kids schools bake sales and mine were often the scruffiest but they were always the ones that sold out first as I knew my audience and my audience weren't interested in the picture perfect creations made by some of the other super mums and dads.

Thank you everyone 😂that hot cross bun one, I was very careful to make it taste like a hot cross bun. It went down really well at Easter.

I will continue on my crap cake making missions-I doubt I'll ever improve so at least I'm consistent.

Well, cigarettes are very messy and I certainly think you nailed that aspect of them! I do mean that as a compliment.What did you make then out of in the end? Love the ashes effect with the what looks like crumbled up cake? 🤭

Yup a real ashtray (new, and I did wash it!) And I made the 'ash' out of crushed up oreos and bits of cake. Cigarettes are just fondant (they were a swine to make if I'm honest)!

Those are fab! Just wondering about the logistics of the sideways dumbells but I suppose I could just mould them from rounded small cakes that I'd place on top of the main one. Thank you

Could you put a Swiss roll as the bar, with a large round cake cut into semi circles on the ends? Like the dumbbells have sunk into the floor.
