I've lost my phone in the house and spent at least 6 solid hours looking ... and I still can't find it!!

Just starting to panic now as obviously I need it for work ... and all my photos and contacts . I hate myself for this. I'm always losing things but I've never lost my phone for over 24 hours now. It's already causing me lots of inconvenience.

Where the hell is it? I know I had it yesterday morning. It was charging by my bed. I might have left it in the bedroom or brought it downstairs with me ... it was my day off work so I spent the morning pottering about, generally tidying and putting things away. Then I had a shower. Then I went to check my phone at about lunch time ... and it's gone somewhere and I haven't seen it since.

FFS. FML. etc.

Where were you when you sent the notification?

Have you put it on a shelf in a wardrobe or in an underwear drawer when putting clean laundry away (I've done this a few times!)

Have you looked in the washing machine?

Try the fridge? Mine was in there once and I couldn’t ring it to find it as it was basically in a big metal box so the signal didn’t get through.

I found mine in the sink underneath a plate the other day. I'd asked a neighbour to ring me and was very surprised to find it there.

And also my boss was arsey with me today (working from home) because I couldn't do a little bit of admin for my job (because the app is only on my mobile) which would have taken him 3 minutes maximum to do. I emailed to tell him exactly what needed doing. And also, luckily we still pay for a landline so he was able to speak to me on the phone. So he can fuck right off too.

I will do that. I did also just say a little prayer to my Mum to guide me ...

Where were you when you posted on FB? If you can narrow that down then maybe you can narrow down your search options.

Next to the sink or washing machine? By the bath? Down the back of the headboard?

Have you checked your dressing gown pocket? In DC's beds?

Also, not that it will help now, but I know that with iPhones you can set certain apps and contacts to still allow notifications when Do Not Disturb is on. Am sure you'll be able to do similar with Samsung.

I did a wash yesterday but luckily it didn't get lost in there <<thankful for small mercies>>. Sorry it wasn't the same for you.

In the recycling.
Inside slippers or shoes.
Linen basket amongst dirty clothes.
Under the bed, look again.
In the bed, pillow cases,headboard.
Handbag, Shopping bags.

Have you been deep into the sofa? That's where a very lost phone in our house was. Phones regularly go down the side, but this one has somehow got into the back. It was almost unreachable.

What were you wearing yesterday? i found my car key in my bra once.

It'll be in your dressing gown pocket or inside your coat lining, check all pockets for holes 🙂

I asked dd to ring my phone once because I'd looked everywhere for it but to be silent because it was on silent and we wanted to hear the vibrate.

I'm so grateful for all this input! Whatever happens, rest assured, I will update when I find the fucking thing. Even if it's in 10 years time!

If you.left it on charge in a bedroom ect. Could somebody have climbed in & stolen it ?

Is it in a bright case? Mine is just a black one and I've lost it many a time on the black microwave or TV stand. So check anywhere it could be camouflaged!
