what do you do as an adult, that you shouldn’t really still do?

I (30F) still sick my thumb. 2 young kids and a decent job.

I don’t do it in the day, just at night. Didn’t really think anything of it until my daughter shoved my own thumb back in my mouth whilst she was in bed with us the other night.

Me and my partner sometimes play with the kids toys when they're at school, unsure if that counts

I play Neopets from time to time 🙈

Get a thrill having Mcdonalds

I'm a professional 40 year old woman and my side of the bedroom still looks like it would have done when I was a teenager. Piles of clothes, books, random crap discarded everywhere. I always assumed I'd be tidier when I grew up. Never happened.

I have a SNES

I sleep with a stuffed horse. Not in an adult way, though!

Per @FourLeggedBuckers i also sleep with a stuffed animal. I have two that are almost as old as me (50) and each week when the bed is stripped they are rotated and one is on our bed/one on the spare bed week about.

I still say a quiet a hello to my old stuff toys when I open the cupboard of old things at my parents

Non-public areas of my house are usually a tip and I eat biscuits in bed

Run up the stairs on all fours as if I'm being chased by a monster.

I still shake hands with a friendly looking tree if I'm feeling sociable and nobody else is around.

I had to do that when I had a broken ankle!

Jump in puddles when I have my wellies on
Squelch through the squelchiest mud when I have my wellies on
Make snow angels when it snows
Kick through piles of swept up leaves in the Autumn
Take a little run with the shopping trolley if the aisle is every empty, then ride on the handle

Sleep with a teddy.
I have a partner but we don't live together. But one Mother's Day he bought me a very cuddly teddy who I named Lola. I've cuddled up to her every night ever since and don't understand how I ever got to sleep without her before.
When I was younger in my single bed I always used to line up my teddies lied in bed. I'd have an inch of the edge of the bed and they'd have the rest lol.
Now typing this Lola's in my arms.

I say a very enthusiastic exaggerated hello to dogs if I see one on its own and no one is near.

Also, someone on here suggested that if you hate running up hills, making "ZOOM ZOOM" noises like a 3 yo really helps. It does.

And since starting keto, just eating the insides of sandwiches.

If I hurt myself, I always look for someone to kiss it better.(DH or DDs, not random people!)

I suck my thumb, love kicking a pile of leaves in the autumn and have a couple of vintage Barbie houses and dolls I enjoy.

I still do this every time I go round my Mum's. Although I can no longer spring up silently anymore. It's more like a herd of elephants crashing about instead.
