Things you still do as an adult

what do you do as an adult, that you shouldn’t really still do?

I (30F) still sick my thumb. 2 young kids and a decent job.

I don’t do it in the day, just at night. Didn’t really think anything of it until my daughter shoved my own thumb back in my mouth whilst she was in bed with us the other night.

I do hand stands in the swimming baths. Ican't do them on dry land.

I'm a professional 40 year old woman and my side of the bedroom still looks like it would have done when I was a teenager. Piles of clothes, books, random crap discarded everywhere. I always assumed I'd be tidier when I grew up. Never happened.

I’ve still got my furry stuffed soft pig, he’s called Timothy Snout, and he’s been with me through my best and worst of times. On those nights when I can’t sleep I put him in the bed and fall asleep cuddling him.

Do handstands or springy cartwheels.

Eat cake batter.

Eat my veg first in a roast dinner because even though I like it I can't shake the habit of "getting the boring stuff out of the way" before I can get to the good parts. Yorkshire pudding always eaten last of course.

I reminded myself of something else yesterday when we stopped at a services and had Burger King for lunch...

Whenever I go to McDonalds, Burger King etc. I get the straw for my drink, rip the wrapper off one end then blow through the straw so the wrapper shoots off, usually aimed at my husband 🙃
