  • Skin cream for DM
  • Toothbrush heads for me
  • Toothbrush charing cable fo rme
  • Jewellery case for DSIL b'day

Lip balm for DD1
Craft kit for DD1's friend's birthday party
Birthday card for the party
Beard oil for DH
Tulips for DM
Tinted moisturiser for me
Ballet leotard for DD1
Raincoat for DD2
PE skirt for DD1
Big pack of hair bobbles for the DDs

No clue if you can tell my income level from that?!

Backinthedress · 07/02/2024 22:04
  • 2x pairs of trousers for DD from h&m
  • Tshirt for DD from h&m
  • Cake ingredients and sweets for a birthday
  • Toiletries (moisture hand mask and lipbalm) for a friend going into hospital
  • Scratchcard
  • Vichy Moisturiser for me
  • Ultra Violette foundation for me
  • Chocolate hearts from flying tiger for the kids on valentines day
  • ginger biscuits from the co op for a vomiting child
  • jakemans cough sweets for me

I think it indicates the fact I have children who keep bringing bugs home more than my income level! I suppose you could have a guess and I'll let you know if you're close...

Backinthedress · 07/02/2024 22:04

(Also have bought a lot more food but tried to exclude the standard, basic shop and only put in the extras)

You mean you think the cello and the law book reveal that you are terribly MC or.. what?

Notevenslightlydamp · 07/02/2024 22:12

allquiettonight · 07/02/2024 22:13

Wrong @theduchessofspork that is literally all I have bought since December apart from food as totally broke as DH is unemployed. The books were actually from a charity shop and reflect more my worry that I can't buy them in one go so trying to buy one or two a month. Writing the list made me a bit sad as realised I can never buy anything for myself and not seeing things change anytime soon but at the same time happy I can still provide for my kids. DD plays cello as instrument given to us by family member.

Kalevala · 07/02/2024 22:14

Since January

Fermenting jars

PeggySooo · 07/02/2024 22:14

1.Mario rash vest for DS1

  1. Swim shorts for DS1
  2. Chinos for DS1
  3. Alexa trousers from lucy and yak for me
  4. Backpack from lucy and yak for me
  5. Captain America costume for DS1
  6. Rainbow vans from vinted for me
  7. Bundle of clothes for holiday from vinted for DD
  8. VR game for DS1
10. Havianas from Vinted that DS2 lost on holiday 2 years ago

DS1 has additional needs and gets DLA, I don't only buy him everything 😆

In terms of my income level, I don't think it matches. I think the list makes me look like I have more money than I do.

FrenchFancie · 07/02/2024 22:15

Cat treats
polyfilla
Silicone sealant for the bastardised leaky bath
new plastic back for my smashed wing mirror
pink cotton thread
sewing needles
bike maintenance handbook
paracetamol
windscreen wipers
train tickets

i think this says I’m trying to fix / repair stuff myself rather than pay someone else to do it. And that my car, bike and bathroom are all probably in need of replacement

Bluevelvetsofa · 07/02/2024 22:15

Several 99p Kindle books
CeraVe moisturiser and cream
Joggers in Bam sale
Vitamins

I don’t think I’ve bought anything else other than food this year.

Acatdance · 07/02/2024 22:15

A jigsaw puzzle from a charity shop (first one, never done one before)

120 toilet rolls from groupon

2 litres of gin, bog standard though, nothing fancy, for me

butterfly garden kit for DGD birthday

job lot of cat food, 120 pouches

new duvet set from Dunelm for me

yeah, pretty much shows I’m a bit tight and like a bargain, not necessarily related to income though
