Those of you buying cat or dog food need to post pix of your animal overlords. Those are the MN rules.

Can you tell I really want a pet? 😫

Thanks @VenusClapTrap what a good use of your money! Adorableness.

@Spagb0l The OP did say to exclude food or petrol, otherwise most of my spends are food and Tube fare.

I have just booked a haircut for myself at a discount in a non-posh salon, and it is still £44. What these lists also tell us is who lives in London and who does not, I think.

ohthehokey · 08/02/2024 08:46

Scented candle
Some jars for overnight oats
Tracksuit bottoms for my DS
Anti wrinkle cream
Waterproof walking trousers

Two pairs of Chelsea boots (both of which are going back).

A pair of trail runners.

Two identical black t-shirts.

A pair of bamboo walking socks.

Return flights to Stockholm.

A weekend’s accommodation on the east coast (UK).

Three bottles of coloured hair conditioner.

A service and MOT for my car.

A new tyre.

All clothes and shoes were in the sales. I’m generally pretty skint, but I work a lot.

ifonly4 · 08/02/2024 09:08

Socks in sale at xmas
Deodorant on clearance
Tickets for DH as a present - local concert - £52
Crew hoodie (reduced)
Booked an apartment in Liverpool £230 for 3 nights
Silver earrings - £14.99 (came out of birthday money)
Latte and cookie in Costa
Cat treats (on offer)

I've bought the above all in the last month, can't think what I might have paid for in December other than Xmas presents!

Not sure if this shows our income or not, but clearly shows I'm always on the lookout for an offer. DH on average income and I work part-time close to minimal wage. Income to decrease drastically soon, so won't be spending quite so much in the future.

slavetothekittens · 08/02/2024 09:16

Cat biscuits
Cat litter
Cat toy
Sellotape
Face wipes ( me)
Vitamin B tablets ( me)
Spatula ( replace broken one)
Tin opener ( replace broken one)
Brooch ( gift)
Posh tea ( gift)

Think that says I break things and spend all my money on cats!
