Do you think by listing the ten most recent things you bought and for whom (apart from food, transport/petrol etc) over what period that you would be able to tell a lot about someone? This is since the being of Jan - here goes:

  • cello spike holder for dd
  • Uni law textbooks for ds
  • Skin cream for DM
  • Toothbrush heads for me
  • Toothbrush charing cable fo rme
  • Jewellery case for DSIL b'day
  • Card for colleague who has just had baby
  • Present for baby
  • Vinted Whistles dress (bargain at £10)
  • Bunch of tulips for DM

I should say what I think this says about me is that I left it quite late to book childcare for half term. NYC holiday is for DH's 50th, so that is not representative of my usual lifestyle (which goes more along the lines of camping holidays).

Another poster has reminded me that I forgot about my monthly payment for Pilates in my first comment and after I posted I had a mad moment and spent £26 on freeze dried sweets.

My elderly dog now costs double my car to insure 🤦‍♀️. She's lucky she's cute

That's it apart from food, petrol & cleaning stuff. I will spend more when the weather's better & we start going out & about, but January is a hunker down month.
