Wrong @theduchessofspork that is literally all I have bought since December apart from food as totally broke as DH is unemployed. The books were actually from a charity shop and reflect more my worry that I can't buy them in one go so trying to buy one or two a month. Writing the list made me a bit sad as realised I can never buy anything for myself and not seeing things change anytime soon but at the same time happy I can still provide for my kids. DD plays cello as instrument given to us by family member.

Do you have a Kindle? I borrow all my books as e-books from the library.

BlackCatsAreBrilliant · 07/02/2024 22:34

Cat food
Multipack of pants for me (Asda)
Radiator bleed keys
Memory games for school (Aldi)
A couple of secondhand novels for DC
Teddy
Handful of craft items (Hobbycraft)
Socks for me (also Asda)
Printer cartridge
More cat food

What it says about me - I have cats and my underwear is falling apart.

AlltheFs · 07/02/2024 22:35

@determinedtomakethiswork I have just re-discovered my local library - it's fab. They even have a library of things so weirdly excited about borrowing some tools like window vacs that might scratch my "new stuff" itch.
