Woman falling through window - anyone else not find it funny?!

Quirrelsotherface · 02/02/2024 17:31

So the video of the woman with her boobs falling out was being shared all day yesterday on SM and several friends sent it through on WhatsApp. Very different friends of mine from different backgrounds, different ages etc saying they couldn't stop laughing at it.

Then all over TV today. Is there something wrong with me because I just didn't find it funny? Mildly amusing maybe but not something that would make me laugh out loud or cause me to nearly wee as one friend told me.

Anyone else or am I a weirdo?

I laughed when her boobs fell out. I must be immature.

stayathomer · 02/02/2024 17:33

Funny but not the funniest thing out there -also I keep thinking of how at the end she went to take the phone off the person filming so I hope she okayed it being shared

gamerchick · 02/02/2024 17:34

Well she's popular since it's all over SM and there's been 2 threads on here.

I think theres nothing much that makes us laugh anymore these days, so a woman getting her baps out accidentally is enough to be invited on the telly.

We need more light hearted things in the world I think.

Well she was being interviewed on live TV about it today so sure she's fine

FleaDog · 02/02/2024 17:35

Much as I want to be a bigger person, I laughed, but mainly at the person laughing on the video, to be honest it was modern day slapstick, like a Laurel and Hardy sketch for a tiktok generation 😂

FuckingHellAdele · 02/02/2024 17:35

Well I've seen loads of posts saying exactly the same, so no, it's not just you.

I found it funny. Certainly harmless anyway.

We don't all find the same things funny, I don't get the love for the 'hilarious typo' threads that a lot of mumsnetters seem to find highly amusing, but I guess they're harmless too.

Feelingwoozy · 02/02/2024 17:36

It was bloody brilliant and I love them both!

She was on TV today so I think she is loving the attention. I would be mortified but she’s enjoying her 5 minutes

stayathomer · 02/02/2024 17:36

Ah that’s good she fine with it!

35965a · 02/02/2024 17:37

I found it funny as in I chuckled. Surprised it went viral!

Gowlett · 02/02/2024 17:37

I’m just don’t look at funny videos or memes. When friends get their phone out to show me I say “no thanks!”.
But, work away everyone else! You don’t have to watch it, OP.

LindorDoubleChoc · 02/02/2024 17:39

Everyone I know who has seen it has found it hilariously funny. I laughed til I ached.

So I expect you are in a bit of a minority OP.

FedUpMumof10YO · 02/02/2024 17:39

It was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I thought it was hilarious.

TheCompactPussycat · 02/02/2024 17:40

I found it very funny. More because of the friend who was doubled over laughing and saying she couldn't breathe because she was so relatable - I could imagine exactly how she felt!

Moier · 02/02/2024 17:41

The sisters have been on This Morning.. l think majority of people find it hilarious. ..me included.

westvalleystreet · 02/02/2024 17:42

Her friend laughing is the funny bit

Morecatsarebetter · 02/02/2024 17:43

Not remotely funny to me OP

HowDoTheyGetThroughLife · 02/02/2024 17:43

I found it amusing - enough to make me smile - but certainly not laugh-out-loud hilarious. I'm not a weirdo

Yep me too. I'm not generally someone who laughs until I cry anyway. I might smile or laugh a little if some thing's hilarious but some people seem to cry with laughter over the most mundane things. I suppose they're lucky to be so easily amused.
This video is mildly amusing. I think the fact the other woman and the person filming it are laughing so much, makes it funnier. Laughter is contagious.

cristokitty · 02/02/2024 17:55

I'm not a laugh out loud kind of person but it makes me laugh out loud everytime I think of it. Like someone else said, it was a real life slapstick moment.

Allfortheloveofabiscuit · 02/02/2024 18:00

I didnt think it was funny either, it's a ridiculous set up (why was it being filmed otherwise)

Also, while the woman is dealing with it ok, she said she actually didnt consent to it being shared publically online. She shared it to close family and friends then it suddenly appeared online

toomanyleggings · 02/02/2024 18:00

People are hard up for laughs. It was mildly amusing but there’s always that nagging feeling these things are staged which makes it less funny.

ViscousFluidFlow · 02/02/2024 18:02

I’m obviously a hair shirt as didn’t find it funny but I can at least see why some people did and I’m glad it gave them a laugh.

NewYear24 · 02/02/2024 18:03

I found it funny and then when her you could see her boobs I found it really funny.

NotDoingOk · 02/02/2024 18:03

It's not so much the lady in the window, as I could see in the first 2 seconds what would happen. With the sound off, it wouldn't catch my attention. What made me laugh was the other lady's reaction. Laughter is contagious 🤷‍♀️
