Woman falling through window - anyone else not find it funny?!

Quirrelsotherface · 02/02/2024 17:31

So the video of the woman with her boobs falling out was being shared all day yesterday on SM and several friends sent it through on WhatsApp. Very different friends of mine from different backgrounds, different ages etc saying they couldn't stop laughing at it.

Then all over TV today. Is there something wrong with me because I just didn't find it funny? Mildly amusing maybe but not something that would make me laugh out loud or cause me to nearly wee as one friend told me.

Anyone else or am I a weirdo?

Funny but not hysterically so

user1471556818 · 02/02/2024 19:16

I did find it funny .But I really admired her attitude "of course I can get through that window no problems "

TheQueenMakersDaughter · 02/02/2024 19:16

I think it was staged, I saw I coming a mile away. Oh well.

Waitingfordoggo · 02/02/2024 19:16

I found it moderately amusing. I probably smiled when I saw it but I didn’t laugh out loud. There are hundreds of things which have made me laugh way more than that.

Tessisme · 02/02/2024 19:17

Upside down, tits out, less funny than her sister's reaction to it.

Yes!! Her Mutley laugh was priceless🤣🤣

BluebellsAndLillies · 02/02/2024 19:18

Am I the only person that hasn’t seen this? I have no idea what video but then again I don’t use social media.

MidnightSerenader · 02/02/2024 19:18

Yeah, it was funny enough, but not all the usual OTT superlatives - spat-my-tea-out / peed-myself funny.

I’d have been in hysterics if it were me and my friend, but it wasn’t that funny watching other people do it.

fedupandstuck · 02/02/2024 19:18

No nothing funny about it for me, and I was surprised who had posted it on Facebook when I saw what it was. So much so that I assumed it must have been some kind of mistake or that someone else had been on her account.

My first thought was that I didn't know if the woman even knew she was being filmed and that it was being posted on SM. Then I saw the clip of the woman being interviewed so realised it was done with her knowledge, at least.

lljkk · 02/02/2024 19:21

Video here. Google Lisa Rowlands.

She's interviewed afterwards (in the vid)
Unlike a lot of MNers, she has a huge sense of humour about it. Enjoying her 5 minutes of fame.

Vinrouge4 · 02/02/2024 19:21

People have different senses of humour. I found it funny. Nice to have something to laugh at. There are lots of things I don't find funny but I just move on. I certainly don't make a fuss or a post about it.

FedUpMumof10YO · 02/02/2024 17:39

It was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I thought it was hilarious.

Yep me too. And I really loved the way her friend reacted. It was just so funny.

StrawberryJellyBelly · 02/02/2024 19:22

I think they were filming it because they thought it would be fun to show the woman afterwards never thinking for a minute she’d give the windows a polish with her breasts.

I laughed at it because my late mum had a black dress like that one and she once had to climb in the sitting room window the way the woman did. Thankfully she wasn’t wearing her black dress that day but I can still picture her trying to get bank into the house after hanging the washing out.

EarringsandLipstick · 02/02/2024 19:23

I loved it. And I usually don't like these kind of things.

I thought the This Morning interview was utterly cringey though. Hearing Alison Hammond say 'norks' repeatedly & then the discussion about her weeing, down her neck, and Alison then asking the other sister (they are both called Lisa, oddly?) if she wee'd too ... it was all 🤢 & considerably less funny.

(I was watching on YouTube as in Ireland, and the next interview was a desperate unbalanced one with Rylan interviewing the poor families of the Nottingham stabbing victims and that was unwatchable. How are these people TV interviewers?)

LauderSyme · 02/02/2024 19:23

It made me laugh a lot.

somethingisnotquiteright · 02/02/2024 19:24

Am I the only person not to have seen this video?

Off to YouTube..

spicedlemonpie · 02/02/2024 19:27

It cracked me up she even pissed her self.
It reminds me of me and my sister just have to laugh at everything.

QueenCoconut · 02/02/2024 19:28

One of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a while

AboutYouAndPeru · 02/02/2024 19:30

I did not find it funny. I am glad that she is going with it and getting something out of it going viral which is a million times better than if she had felt humiliated of course. Kudos to her for that.

sawnotseen · 02/02/2024 19:32

I found it very funny and if that were me and my sister in that predicament our partners would definitely filmed it if only to show our mum!

DodgyMcDodgerson · 02/02/2024 19:32

It was funny but more because of the friend cracking up as others have said. I’m interested to know who was filming it? Was it a set up?

JDJT · 02/02/2024 19:33

Hadn't seen it but just watched from the link PP posted. Didn't make me laugh at all! We all have a different sense of humour! Seemed obvious to me that with a strapless dress on, of course her boobs would be revealed going through the window like that too. Definitely staged.

fruitypancake · 02/02/2024 19:34

Cracked me up

RufustheFactualReindeer · 02/02/2024 19:34

I was laughing at the woman laughing, that’s exactly what i am like as my family will attest

it brought back memories of having to shove my 14 year old brother through the top opener of a very small toilet window at 12.30am one Christmas day…its probably a relief to him that we didn’t have mobile phones in those days

SoupAnyone · 02/02/2024 19:34

I think it was genuine and very funny

Workwhat · 02/02/2024 19:35

I had to search for this as I didn't know what you were all talking about! It's not funny to me at all, I hardly cracked a smile watching it and I do like to laugh!

She doesn't seem hurt or upset by it though so I think as long as she's laughing along and no one is laughing at her it's fine.
