Woman falling through window - anyone else not find it funny?!

Quirrelsotherface · 02/02/2024 17:31

So the video of the woman with her boobs falling out was being shared all day yesterday on SM and several friends sent it through on WhatsApp. Very different friends of mine from different backgrounds, different ages etc saying they couldn't stop laughing at it.

Then all over TV today. Is there something wrong with me because I just didn't find it funny? Mildly amusing maybe but not something that would make me laugh out loud or cause me to nearly wee as one friend told me.

Anyone else or am I a weirdo?

Call me cynical but why would a third person be filming this .

Presumably the group of 3 were locked out so had decided one of them needed to climb through the top window. If I wasn't the person doing the climbing or advising I'd probably film it too as I'd expect it to be quite entertaining 🤷‍♀️

In the other thread about this someone said these women have posted several other videos of their antics which made me think it had all been a setup.

sunglassesonthetable · 02/02/2024 18:33

Made me laugh. It was sister no 2 crying with laughter that did it for me.

We're all different, eh?

GalileoHumpkins · 02/02/2024 18:33

It's just not my kind of humour. I don't find boob flashing and adults peeing themselves funny.

Jelly0naplate · 02/02/2024 18:34

It's bothered you so much you've made a post about it?!

You didn't find it funny, move on.

Holybatrimony · 02/02/2024 18:35

Thought it was set up. Didn't laugh.

Labradorsarethebest · 02/02/2024 18:36

It's really funny. Everyone I know laughed. I think you're just a little more rarefied and sophisticated than the rest of us OP.

Blackcats7 · 02/02/2024 18:36

I didn’t find it funny but then I don’t like slapstick style humour. Plus I find it a bit irritating when people share something like this on fb assuming everyone else will think it hilarious.
Animals in clothes and similar nonsense annoy me too. Clearly I am a grumpy old bag.

GoSmallOrGoAway · 02/02/2024 18:37

I've not seen it but on reading an article it seems she didn't know it was on the internet until it had gone viral, that aspect makes me uncomfortable even though she's taken it in good humour. What if she hadnt?

DrunkenElephant · 02/02/2024 18:37

I really did laugh at it, but it was more the other woman who was in the video making me laugh 😂

RenoDakota · 02/02/2024 18:42

I found it very funny when I saw it yesterday but find it less funny since realising it went viral. Not unique anymore.

Lindy2 · 02/02/2024 18:46

I found it funny. The laughter of her friend is contagious. I've watched it several times and it makes me laugh each time. Yes, her boobs fall out but she's somewhat shielded by being behind the glass and the distance from the camera so it's not overly revealing. She's laughing about it too.

If someone was embarrassed or too much was seen, then that would be a different matter. As it is, it's just a very comical situation, where everyone involved is laughing.

Laughter and seeing the funny side of things is important.

Feelingwoozy · 02/02/2024 18:47

Baffles me why everyone is saying it's a set up as it was filmed, we all have film making equipment in our hands 24/7 now, literally everything and anything is filmed. Most of the time it will be faintly amusing at best but this was just so funny, slowly sliding down the window with her friend/sister convulsed with laughter was just the best tonic to end a tough week, thank you ladies

BorgQueen · 02/02/2024 18:53

Would it have been so funny if she’d fallen and broken her neck? 🙄
But then I always hated Beadle’s about and all the other ‘prank’ shows.

Panfriedscallops · 02/02/2024 18:55

My version won't play now. Has it been removed?

Quirrelsotherface · 02/02/2024 19:02

*It's bothered you so much you've made a post about it?!

You didn't find it funny, move on*

I find this response funny 🤣

I have moved on, well actually I didn't really get moving to begin with. That was kind of my point.

It was sent to me whilst I was doing everything possible to avoid dedicating some time to spreadsheets, so it was some welcome humour. It was definitely the person with her who was the funniest though.

Andylion · 02/02/2024 19:05

Copen · 02/02/2024 18:22

No, I didn't find it funny. Then again I found the man with the cat head on zoom clip hilarious (over covid), I'm sure some people didn't.

Me too, on both points.

With this video, it might have had more impact on me if I hadn’t heard how hilarious it was. I was expecting something funnier.

I also doubt such things aren’t set up, but I can totally believe that someone would film someone trying to break into her own house via the window.

KittySmith1986 · 02/02/2024 19:07

It’s not really my sense of humour.

Stillnormal · 02/02/2024 19:09

No that was really funny.

MichaelAndEagle · 02/02/2024 19:11

I have been on another thread about this today and asked this question there too, so apologies.
But those who didn't find it funny, would you have laughed if you were the friend and the one to witness in real life?

Sureaseggs44 · 02/02/2024 19:11

SallyWD · 02/02/2024 18:30

In the other thread about this someone said these women have posted several other videos of their antics which made me think it had all been a setup.

Not sure that’s true because she said they were partners and had posted one crude one . Actually they are sisters . Allegedly it was last June and they personally did not put on SM , but are not bothered that it is .

MichaelAndEagle · 02/02/2024 19:12

The friend/sisters reaction certainly seems 100% genuine and not staged to me.

lollipoprainbow · 02/02/2024 19:13

No me neither !

Floralnomad · 02/02/2024 19:13

BorgQueen · 02/02/2024 18:53

Would it have been so funny if she’d fallen and broken her neck? 🙄
But then I always hated Beadle’s about and all the other ‘prank’ shows.

When I was 6 my mum got locked out and as I was the smallest I got pushed through a small top window , fell into the sink on the other side and broke my arm quite badly . That’s probably why my first thought isn’t ’let’s film it’ .

BlindurErBóklausMaður · 02/02/2024 19:14

Didn't find it remotely funny. But then there have been so many almost identical videos over the years. I actually thought it was just an old one resurfaced when I first saw it yesterday, especially as it was on The Poke.
