Woman falling through window - anyone else not find it funny?!

Quirrelsotherface · 02/02/2024 17:31

So the video of the woman with her boobs falling out was being shared all day yesterday on SM and several friends sent it through on WhatsApp. Very different friends of mine from different backgrounds, different ages etc saying they couldn't stop laughing at it.

Then all over TV today. Is there something wrong with me because I just didn't find it funny? Mildly amusing maybe but not something that would make me laugh out loud or cause me to nearly wee as one friend told me.

Anyone else or am I a weirdo?

I don’t get it either. It was vaguely amusing, I thought ‘oops, how mortifying, haha’ rather than not being able to breathe because I was laughing so hard. I don’t get why it went viral or deserves a slot on the news.

I’m not being po faced, I spend a large proportion of my time watching funny videos on TikTok and Reels on Facebook. I just didn’t think it was that funny.

Hadn't seen it but just watched from the link PP posted. Didn't make me laugh at all! We all have a different sense of humour! Seemed obvious to me that with a strapless dress on, of course her boobs would be revealed going through the window like that too. Definitely staged.

It's clear from the longer video it wasn't staged. The sister's partner is filming from the car.

SweetBirdsong · 02/02/2024 19:41

Are you kidding @Quirrelsotherface ?!!! I nearly pissed myself laughing at it. Proper belly-laughed! This is like something I would do! How can you not have found it funny? It was HILARIOUS! 😆

Beetlewings · 02/02/2024 19:42

I was in a very busy supermarket once wearing a strapless sundress and my 4 yr old decided to get my attention by grabbing and tugging it down. Full tit exposure, dress round my waist That wasn't funny either 😂😂😂

BillyL · 02/02/2024 19:42

I don't know if it was staged or not but last year Dd and I got locked out. I ended up trying to break in while Dd filmed me whilst crying laughing. So maybe it wasn't staged.

boredybored · 02/02/2024 19:43

I found the lady laughing funnier because that would be me .. laughing at innapropriate times when I should be helping 🤣🤣

FuckingHellAdele · 02/02/2024 17:35

Well I've seen loads of posts saying exactly the same, so no, it's not just you.

I found it funny. Certainly harmless anyway.

We don't all find the same things funny, I don't get the love for the 'hilarious typo' threads that a lot of mumsnetters seem to find highly amusing, but I guess they're harmless too.

Well yeah this. ^ I guess it wouldn't do for us all to like the same things. I find the totes hilaire accidental typos totally ridiculous. Like the willy wanka post (instead of willy wonka.) The A and the O are nowhere near each other, and there is no such word as wanka so it wasn't an autocorrect. I found it ridiculous and unfunny. Yet some people said they spat their tea out laughing, and were laughing so much they nearly choked. I was like Confused and Hmm Because it wasn't funny and it was clearly fake.

Sorry, but I bet it was! Grin

It’s not really my sense of humour.

Same. I like to think my sense of humour is a bit more sophisticated than some drunk squashing her tits on a window. Puerile

Gagaandgag · 02/02/2024 19:56

I wonder if it would have been too risqué for you’ve been framed. Back then at least it seemed a lot more obvious when things were set up

AngeloMysterioso · 02/02/2024 19:56

I found it mildly amusing, it didn’t make me belly laugh or anything.

Edited

She wasn’t drunk, she’d just got back from the supermarket and realised she had no keys. Nice of you to decide she’s just a pissed up exhibitionist. You don’t sound stuck up at all.

I laughed until it hurt at the video of the lady who was spinning under the rescue helicopter a few years back. In my defence the woman posting it was also chuckling which always makes me laugh.

It was only when I read the comments that I considered it was a real person who suffered afterwards. I also have no idea who was videoing it from above a helicopter?!

MuchuseasaChocolateTeapot · 02/02/2024 20:00

Apologies for the Facebook link, it was the one I saw and it was funnier with the poster snorting with laughter x

RaraRachael · 02/02/2024 20:07

As soon as it mentioned my two most hated words "Gone viral", I knew it wasn't something I'd be remotely interested in.

It's amazing how somebody always just happens to be filming.

RampantIvy · 02/02/2024 20:20

The video didn't make me laugh or even smile. I think you would have had to be there to find it funny. As a video it just isn't funny.

I think I have a different sense of humour to most of the posters on this thread.

She said she pissed herself as well as the rest of it. Yes I am stuck up when it comes to blatant exhibitionism.

Wrenbird27 · 02/02/2024 20:33

I didn't think it was funny either OP... It was okay, very predicable. Was surprised at my colleagues laughing out loud at it. I suppose humour is very subjective.

Christmasnutcracker · 02/02/2024 20:37

It made me laugh but the sister laughing made me laugh out loud. I don’t think it was staged. I laughed out loud - the sister’s laughing was contagious.

susiedaisy1912 · 02/02/2024 20:38

I found it hilarious. Made me roar with laughter but I find farts and burps funny so...

MichaelAndEagle · 02/02/2024 20:39

When you're laughing so much you are incapacitated...its a glorious thing! As much as she wanted to help she couldn't.
That's what made it for me.

I've never seen that one before. I was laughing when it was spinning slowly, then when it was going really fast I was just thinking Jesus, that's an injured 74 year old.

milkonesugar35 · 02/02/2024 20:42

I laughed so hard my makeup ran and then randomly burst out laughing on my own when I remembered it!

Jf20 · 02/02/2024 20:49

To be fair it made me laugh, the sight of her hanging upside down with her boobs out pressed against the window , and the person videoing it laughing and her sister couldn’t even look at her.

even writing it is making me laugh,.😂

Catsmere · 02/02/2024 20:49

Just watched it now. Didn't raise a smile, partly because I knew what was coming and being told "this will make you laugh" has the opposite effect.
