Ohhh yummy! I just had a huge plate of pasta smoothered in melted cheese. Not very interesting but I craved the carbs and now my belly is warm and full yum yum

LindorDoubleChoc · 18/01/2024 14:56

I have just opened a bag of Reese's peanut butter cup minis.

I rarely eat sweets or chocolates but I've given up smoking, I'm doing dry January and my Mum has recently passed away. Comfort eating I guess!

WinterLobelia · 18/01/2024 14:58

I bought an M&S meatloaf and M&S potato and spinach dauphinoise for dinner. That feels very very treaty to me. (I have a savoury tooth)

MeinKraft · 18/01/2024 14:59

I bought some custard slices in Asda. Will have one later with a cup of tea

sorry to hear about your mum. nothing wrong with a bit of comfort eating when you are feeling sad.

I think you should get a bag of oreos and make reese/oreo sandwiches..... could be onto a winner?

I've just had marmite on toast and a slice of corned beef for lunch. Not exactly what I wanted but the tills have gone down in the local shop and I didn't have time to go anywhere else!

I will make up for it this evening!

carbs and fat. can't go wrong with that combo. sounds lovely. sometimes simple is what you need. the other day I made fresh pasta for the first time and just ate with with sage butter and toasted pine nuts. heaven.

sounds awesome. I'm very intrigued by the spinach dauphinoise... I've only ever had the regular one. going into my next online order!

An almond croissant. May indulge in some wine later. Doing dry-ish January. Moderation is the aim for this year!

Natural yoghurt with fresh raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, topped with flaked almonds and chia seeds and a squeeze of honey

(Gave up ultra processed foods after years of addiction)

Yep, that's why I ate it at lunchtime. No one else around.😄

Was out for a walk at lunchtime and as it was so cold out, I got a Mocha from the coffee shop to bring back to the office.

aperolspritzbasicbitch · 18/01/2024 15:25

For lunch I have vegetable soup, with an M&S cheese pretzel for dipping.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Good on you. the car is always good for snacking for this reason. very easy to nip out because you 'left something in the car'.

I don't usually have much breakfast but it was so frosty today and by teh time I got in from feeding the animals I was shivering so made a big bowl of porridge with cinnamon, melted brown sugar and blueberries. It was divine.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 18/01/2024 15:27

A just baked cheese baton from Sainsbury's this morning. Slathered in Lurpak. I knew I didn't have time for anything else till about 8pm tonight, and itbwas like heaven. Easily the thing I've most enjoyed this month.

TeenDivided · 18/01/2024 15:27

McDonalds - 3 chicken nuggets and ~10 fries.
