Can anyone point to anything Sunak and the Tories have done over the past 14 years that excites them, and makes them go, I want to vote for them again?

she would have to have done some seriously crazy shit in order not to get elected in 2024z

You do remember October 2022? And the lettuce?

Good one. You definitely had me there. Hats off to you.

I am looking forward to choosing between Sunak's "long-term plan" for the country or "back to square one" with Labour.

I must say I am excited to learn what Sunak has forgotten next.

I am also looking forward to reading more stories about Starmer saving people from the death penalty

What a bastard he is, opposing the death penalty. Snowflake.

I'm really excited to see the wonderful work of the right wing client journalists. Oh how they will fawn over Rishi. I can't wait!

dickdarstardlymuttley · 09/01/2024 11:50

That political editor Harry Cole has me dancing with excitement 💃 (🫣🤢😡)

I find it mildly exciting not to be confident about who will be PM in the next month.

I find this Pass the Parcel style of government very exciting. I'm sure my DC will find it exciting to see how the UK will go from G7 to Emerging Economy in short space of time.

We may also find it exciting if my region stops being in the UK altogether. I've never moved country without moving house before.

Would that make you a migrant or not?

It could be an exciting new way to game the net migration figures, by ensuring that appropriately sized chunks of land left the UK each year.

I don't know. I'll be fun finding out and I suppose I can relax, safe in the knowledge that my new country can't strip me of Citizenship if I piss off the government like the UK can.

On the other hand it'll be a pain in the arse for the migrants in my region as they'll have to move to the new, smaller UK.

I am looking forward to more of these well informed tweets

Anyone actually excited about a Sunak/Tory government
Jason118 · 09/01/2024 20:43

I am looking forward to continuing to post the reply 'condolences' on every tweet I see from a conservative supporter. I'm sure it will spur them on to greater things.

L1ttledrummergirl · 09/01/2024 21:15

I'm excited for all the community notes correcting Sunaks tweets. It's a shame it's not a paid position as there are enough lies to keep half the population employed.

ThatbloodyRoblox · 09/01/2024 21:27

I am so excited about Rishi visiting a school - not one of the falling down ones obvs and One of those clever kids explaining to him how to retrieve his WhatsApp messages. I can just imagine his little smiley face when all his messages are found and he is at last able to "recall" it would be a miracle and he could share those skills with his good friend Bodge the Johnson.

AdamRyan · 09/01/2024 22:02

I'm looking forward to seeing new and creative options for the government to break the law, but only in limited and specific ways.

Also to them protecting womens rights by getting rid of the Equality Act and HRA. Very excited! Can't wait! Only one party is looking after women like this!

jgw1 · 09/01/2024 22:30

Is looking forward to and being excited the same thing?

I am exercised by the announcement just made by 30 of the most obnoxious 'Tory rebels' (all your favourites, won't flatter them by bothering to name them) who are apparently going to demand Rwanda bill has more teeth. The nasty bitey kind. More embarrassment for Sunak. These people, ugh.

That could be good news if they refuse to vote for the “toothless” version.

I'm grimly amused by the frequently shown news clip with Sunak on a boat in the Channel with the white cliffs in the background. The mass shouts of "dont let him land, captain" obviously can't be heard as far away as Westminster. Meanwhile, KS 🍻 is a barrister who has defended people accused of offences. Desperate times.

It is outrageous that someone who worked as a defence lawyer defended people in court. Does he not know that these people are criminals and that is why they are in court?

OP posts:
newnamethanks · 10/01/2024 07:38

Quite. Defence lawyers should be abolished and their role handed over to ITV, it's just pandering to criminals. Sorry, sold to ITV. It's obvious what kind of person KS is as he hangs out with criminals.

TheMildManneredMilitant · 10/01/2024 08:17

I am excited to take on a new identity as A Motorist. Apparently everyone else is one, they must be having so much fun! I'm glad Rishi is so keen to support this.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/01/2024 08:23

I'm super excited to face the prospect of never being able to see a GP again. After all, there are so many interesting different alternatives to GPS now. I can't wait to see what random diagnosis/treatment I end up with.
