I thought it was halving the boats, stopping the economy, supporting inflation and reducing the NHS...

It may have been reducing the economy and stopping the NHS. I can’t recall.

Daily Express in linking the post office scandal with Farage and Brexit. In only the way they can!!

It's been known about for years. Where were the media then?

cakeorwine · 08/01/2024 22:12

Indeed has just emailed me a link to a job at CCHQ. Tempted to apply but I bet my social media would prevent that!! I could destroy them from the inside.

DancingLedgend · 08/01/2024 22:27

Ooh @cakeorwine
Please, please, take one for the team.
Get in, then destroy them from the inside.

I've just misread that as GCHQ and got very confused about why you wanted to bring them down.

Tory MPs falling over themselves to support Post Office sub postmasters. Just wait til Priti finds out who was Home Secretary from 2019 to 2022.

Similarly Rachel Johnson slagging off Rishi on LBC at the weekend seems to have forgotten that her brother was PM.

They do seem to be suffering from some sort of collective amnesia.

No, they’re just hoping we are. Or that we’re not bright enough to join the dots.

This. Sunak really does seem to think we are all a bit stupid, not as smart as him.

Either that or he is the toddler with chocolate all over his face insisting he didn't eat the Christmas stash.

A medical NGO known for emergency relief in war zones is treating asylum seekers housed in a disused airbase in James Cleverly’s constituency, the Guardian can reveal.

It is the first time that MSF, which is known for its work in Gaza, South Sudan and Syria, has offered medical relief specifically for people seeking asylum in the UK.

I wonder if not so Cleverly has any spare drugs he could give them?

Plenty of time for good scrutiny then?

They really are determined to avoid good governance and democracy.

Patel's tweet got community noted

A search of the Hansard records and of TheyWorkForYou show that this is not true. She has not mentioned this in Parliament until 08/01/2024

TooBigForMyBoots · 09/01/2024 17:42

Told you there was a Tory memory problem. I wonder if it's a medically recognised syndrome?
