Best pet name you’ve heard

I watched a video today and a woman’s pet sphynx cat that she called Nudacris. That tickled me

I know a cat named Demistache for the half-moustache patch on her whisker pad.

Two dachshunds at the dog park (evil bitey bastards who work in tandem to bash up my giant breed malamute/newfoundland mix) called Schnitzel & Strüdel.(Their owner is fabulous and peels them off my big wuss and always apologizes.)

Oh, and a very sociable grey rabbit called Tayto

A friend of a friend had a cat called Margaret…not a nickname really, but just so funny I always thought!

Mum and I had a cat called Hadji. We got him (poor little waif lost from a feral colony) in 1995. We'd not long seen Portrait of a Marriage and were rather fans of Harold Nicolson. I was drying the dishes with a cat-patterned tea towel from Sissinghurst and the name just suggested itself.

We regularly see Toulouse the sausage dog at the park, always makes me smile

I had 2 rabbits called Big Twat and Little Twat, my partner took them to the vet when they were babies, and didn't know what to put on their registration forms, so they became Big Tasty and Little Tasty in public.

A big floppy dog called Lollop.

A cat called Oedipus. Then they had him neutered and renamed him Oedipum (one for the Classicists 😂)

A friend of DP used to cat and house sit for a pair of cats called Leather and Rubber.

I bet Oedipus wrecks the sofa.

I also had a hamster called Dorothy Facebook. She used to cross the roof of her cage upside down like Spider-Man.

An all-brown sausage dog called Cumberland

We used to have 2 rabbits - Stew & HotPot ( we are vegetarians) plus we had another rabbit called Mortimer after the mighty Bob!!

Awww Stormy reminds me very much of my Russian Blue cat, Anna Pavlova. He could well be a Russian Blue or maybe a Korat. 😍

Cats called Samson and Delilah, and a tiny lost baby kitten who was found and bought home and nicknamed Little One. The name stuck and he grew up into a great big bruiser of a tom cat 😻

A pet duck called Lady Jane Grey as she was grey.
A pet miniature cockerel called Squeaky and a parrotlet called Stumpy Green.
All very tame!

Our kitty who passed away last week was called Lando Norris.
A friend of mine has a kitty called Margaret.

And someone in my town has a huge black & white spotted Great Dane called Titch. 😂

My dog's name is Podólski. Love it! Some people who find it hard to pronounce it call him Podog!

Also, there's a book I love in which the duck is called Fup. So Fup duck!
