I came across a Nigel the cat on FB. I thought that was brilliant!

My friend had a hedgehog called Snoop Hoggy Hog.

A springer and a cocker spaniel, called Gerry and Jarvis.

My cats have literary names. I adopted Tolstoy and Tolkien. Tolstoy sadly died. Tolkien's kitten playmate is called Tennyson. My previous cat was called Nicodemus - Nico for short.

My friend has a cat called Phil Collins.

I was once in the vet with someone whose cat was named Snowy. He was black.

My gorgeous cat was called Chandler Bing. He’s been dead about 10 years
now, he was amazing.

we adopted 2 strays and called them Sunday and Monday as those were the days we found them. We still have Sunday.

I love it when cats and dogs have bog-standard, slightly old-fashioned human names.

I once met a sweet English bull terrier called Trevor. 🥰

My friend's crossbreed is called Roger. Used to be obsessed with tennis balls.

Our school rabbits were called Starsky & Hutch. We were allowed to choose the names and it was the naughty boy in our class that came up with this name (it was about 1981)

My pug is called Pingu. When we’re out and about and people ask his name you can see it means nothing to kids, but lots of adults get all nostalgic over the programme they’d forgotten about 😊
