Rug does not look right?

I don't think this rug looks right does it. I'm so pissed off

@Shithole101 I agree with those saying the rug should be a tad smaller, the second photograph I think proves that. You say if you cut it the ends will fray, you need to google to find someone who will whip or border the edges of rugs. I did it recently with an off cut of carpet, it did not cost much at all, iirc about £20. If you are able to find someone, I expect they will cut the rug for you too. You could end up with getting 2 rugs for the price of one!

Oh that might be a good idea. You could have a spare rug or for the other end of the room or another room entirely.

Also maybe a wood shelf on the wall with plants and an table or poufs or both would break it up and make it all more harmonious.

@Shithole101 not sure if you already do this (or if you have time!) but I find Pinterest really good to for decorating decisions. Anything I'm going to buy, I put it on my board and see what it looks like with the rest of my stuff.

Pinterest confuses me . Everyone says its really easy to use . But it confuses the hell out of me . I don't know why though. I tired to use it a few times I just don't get it . I do sometimes do Google images . But I find most things are very prim and proper show room like. Might get an idea here and there though so I still look.

Google images would be same idea. Put them all next to each and you can see if you like it. That's how I use Pinterest. I know what you mean, not getting sucked into thinking that everyone has to have a house that looks like a show room. Because fashions changed and that can up up with feeling like you need to change things. Capitalism for you! 😆

You're right it doesn't look right are you able to return it, But maybe if you had some cushions on the sofa in the same colour as the rug it would soften things.

I don't get sucked into the fashion side of it. It's just that I could never make it perfect. I have to do everything myself. And I'm just not that good at it 🤣

🤣 teen ds just came in with his friend and said don't this rug look shit. His friend said no. Then ds said it don't suit the room though does it. Friend said no. I folded it out bigger to piss them off 😅
