What are you all having for supper this evening (New Year's Eve)?

As the title says...

We are having a Chinese for tea.

Lasagne and garlic mushrooms.

Cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, chicken drumsticks, and a pickled walnut :)

Homemade veggie soup, with thickly buttered bread. Crackers and cheese later, with bread stick and dips and chutney. And fizz. Lots of fizz

Thai takeaway and glass of champagne

Home cooked ham, chips and salad.

Followed by the last of the Christmas stollen.

Smoked salmon and caviar with cream cheese on tortilla chips
Fish pie (tried and trusted Return of the Naked Chef recipe)
Frozen berries with hot white chocolate and Baileys sauce

Kids are going out and friends from up the road are coming round

God knows. It’s a buffet in a Portuguese hotel. Could be anything from salted cod to cheese and Brussels sprouts.

A Gurkha curry (takeaway)

I just had a cheese salad again followed by two mince pies. We call it tea here too.

A beige buffet!

A continuous supply of party food and champagne 🍣🍢🥖🥜🦐🧀🍾🥂

Buffet grazing evening, has become a tradition 😋

Party food here. Just 4 of is though. Going to do some cheesy nachos to start off with. Then bits and bobs.

Salmon and Hollandaise sauce with new potatoes and veg.

McDonald's in a motorway service station!

Party food. Indian snacks, duck spring rolls, garlic bread, salads, cold meats, cheese and crackers, and anything else we can find in the fridge or freezer

Oh and wine and champagne

Usually get a Chinese NYE as a tradition but we just didn’t fancy one - so it’s enchiladas and nachos for us tonight which I’m making, and a bottle of Asti for me (pure class 🤣)

My OH is working, but I've decided to treat myself and the kids to a takeaway

Dp just cooking a full beef roast dinner followed by the vienetta we didn’t eat xmas day

To start at 20.30
Buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese dressing
Chicken wings and sriracha
Followed by
Goulash, roast potatoes and green beans
At 21.30
Then
Baileys tiramisu
At 22.30

Hopefully heavy enough to soak up the fizz and keep us awake until midnight.
Odd menu chosen so it could be eaten from bowls as the dining room is currently out of action.
