What is one hill you will die on?

One opinion that you have that will never waver, no matter what?..

Related to my running experience today I suppose the hill I will die on is that a bright, sunny winter day is not a nice day on account of it being five fucking degrees. I don't care about the blue sky when I'm freezing my tits off and I don't care about the sun if it's not doing its job of WARMING ME UP.

This is for DP and his constant suggestions of going for a nice walk every winter weekend. No, I'm stopping inside and not getting hypothermia, thanks.

No sexual double standards between women and men.

Why would you get hypothermia? Confused Presumably you'd dress for the weather.

You have surely heard of hyperbole?

Ah @gannett you are my opposite! I can’t stand it when people talk about “this glorious weather we’re having” in thirty degree heat. Nothing glorious about swimming in your own sweat!

I don't mind a bright coldish winter day, but I get really irritated by sentimentality about 'white Christmas' especially in places where it's not automatically white at that time of year. As someone with co-ordination disabilities, I absolutely cannot manage slippery icy paths and pavements. Maybe slipping on an icy hill really is how I'll die! To reduce that risk, white Christmas = lockdown Christmas for me, and it's not something I want people to wish on me!

Nothing better than being outside on a crisp cold cloudless day. 😊

That lockdown went on for far, far too long and that schools should never, ever have been closed.

Yep both those
