Haven't read the full thread, but:

Branston baked beans taste much nicer than Heinz Baked Beans. I will not be persuaded otherwise.

I have rtft and you are wrong. All baked beans are revolting no matter the brand name. AND pineapple does not ever belong on pizza.

<<<<<The sound of a gavel bangs and puts an end to the pineapple on pizza question>>>>>

Hell yeah.

Abortion is wrong. I've looked at every pro-choice argument under the sun but nothing cam convince me that it's right.

So don't have one?

I cant imagine many women trying to make you have an abortion, so it's kind of a non issue.

I was pregnant after being raped by my brother. Are you honestly saying I should have been forced to have his child?

@Gingerbreadtreehouse care to come back and comment?

Er, it’s not all about you and yes it could impact their mental health.

Lying doesn’t come into it. It’s polite to call people what they want to be called, you don’t have to believe they are female if they are biologically male, but they are choosing to live as a woman it is only good manners to acknowledge that as long as it is doing no harm to others, which calling yourself ‘she’ is not.

You appear to know something the whole of fwr has been wondering for years now. Can you tell us what "living as a woman" is?

Marycontrary12 · 04/12/2023 20:05

You can't tell the difference between branded and non-branded food products

HumanBurrito · 04/12/2023 20:39

MFL should be taught in all schools from 5 up. And no religion, not RE classes. Anyone who wants to learn about religion can do it in their own time.

Ebokebok · 03/12/2023 13:31

Yes it does and you should therefore know that you never put a coma before and 🙈

Yes you can. Not in the way the poster has, but to say you never can is wrong.

WandaWomblesaurus · 04/12/2023 20:59

That males should not be in the same changing rooms or bathrooms as my teenage daughter.

And that children are not ever born in the wrong bodies.

cardibach · 04/12/2023 21:15

Ebokebok · 03/12/2023 15:05

im not wrong and you don't put a comma before but either.

You definitely can.
Plus you need an apostrophe in I’m. And a capital I.

Jam first then clotted cream on top. Always.

Absolutely. And butter under the jam.

Absolutely. And butter under the jam.

I don’t get people who justify putting cream on first by saying that the cream “acts as the butter”. Just use butter if you want something to act as butter 🤷‍♀️

Didsomeonesaydogs · 04/12/2023 23:51

Heinz ketchup is not the best.

Zone2NorthLondon · 04/12/2023 23:53

No religion teaching in schools. None.nada. Not a function of state to indoctrinate or teach religious made up stories as allegories
Do it in your own private time. It’s private and not t be universally forced upon children

Actually it would likely have an effect on their mental health, and their beliefs are just as real as your religious ones. If you done this in the workplace, you could be creating a hostile work environment while discriminating and possibly harassing. We can only hope you never have a trans colleague.

And hopefully, you never have a colleague with OCD. Because if you treated them with the same disdain as you are treating this poster, you could be creating a hostile work environment while discriminating and possibly harassing.

This person has quite clearly explained the serious negative effect it would have on her. And she is the impolite one? I would say you are not just impolite but also lacking in basic empathy.

SwordToFlamethrower · 05/12/2023 00:46

No one can change sex.

ArthurbellaScott · 05/12/2023 07:44

I'm sure we can all agree it's butter, jam, and cream, in that order, with an Oxford comma. On the cake pronounced scone.

And humans can't change sex.

I hope you mean scone to rhyme with gone, if so, jolly good, carry on!

ArthurbellaScott · 05/12/2023 08:46

All right-thinking people know how it's pronounced. And all well-mannered people refuse to say otherwise. 😊
