Just a bit of fun but what are your worst christmas songs that make you turn the radio off?

Heres my top 3:

Paul McCartney - wonderful Christmas time.
Beach boys - little saint nick
The waitresses - christmas wrapping

Driving home for Christmas (in bold as it's also probably the worst song of all time). The combination of plinky plinky music and his voice makes me stabby (and it's shit). I hate it.

Nooooo- FTONY is sacred!!! Love that song.

Have to admit my fave song is Boney M, Mary's Boy Child. Always makes me bop along.

Glad it's not just me with the Paul McCartney song hatred.

'I wish it could be Christmas every day' by Wizzard. God I hate that song! It was lame in 1970-whenever it appeared and if it wasn't a Christmas song it would have sunk without trace many decades ago. But every year it get wheeled out, along with the other treasures on this list. Arrrggghhhhh!!!!!!

Having lived in Africa in the 80s yes, we did know it was fucking Christmas and we had a great time…oh and we were happy there wasn't snow.
Africa is not a country.
Africa is not Ethiopia in the 80s.
Other religions exist.
Only white singers were available to sing lead apparently.

Yes anything by Cliff. Funnily enough he’s only ever had 2 Xmas number ones in 1988 and 1990 but I’ve seen he’s got a 2003 Cliff at Christmas album out with lots of cringy and combo of religious songs and cringe ones mixed in.

He’s probably due a new Xmas song out any day now.
