Hate hate hate Santa Baby sung by Kylie Minogue, the way she sings it, all over breathy god I can't stand it!!

I don't mind it sung by Eartha Kitt

That's my favourite. Makes me think of all the years I spent travelling home to see my late mum and dad at Christmas.

Hate that spaceman one too...

I was about to say I can’t actually think of any I thoroughly hate, altho definitely have favourites and less-sos… then realised Justin Bieber did a Christmas song and it was a monstrosity 😂

Oh no! I love Christmas wrapping and driving home for Christmas lol
Underneath the tree by Kelly Clarkson is an absolute favourite too.

Mine is also Driving Home for Christmas, I see I'm not alone in this! I also love a Christmas song but Driving Home is just so mediocre, lounge music, middle of the road.

White Christmas and just about every single secular Christmas song. Hate them all. Give me priory choral music any day!

I hate most Christmas songs to be honest, but I actually don't mind the Paul McCartney cheese fest 😁

I love all the songs mentioned other than Mariah Carey. I wish she'd stay in the deep freeze, she defrosts mid November and is then inescapable

I love traditional Christmas carols, but songs from about 1940 and more modern are tacky more often than not.

I particularly dislike "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire", though objectively it's really not that bad and has interesting harmonies. But I have a bad association with it and I... intensely dislike it.

See, I amuse myself for hours with that one by substituting "chestnuts" with the names of people I dislike. Eg "Liz Truss roasting on an open fire". If my kids complain I just sub their names in, repeatedly.

Oh, I've thought of another one that can get in the bin. Elton John's step into Christmas. Yuck.

Underrated is Kate bush - december will be magic again

I don’t want to sound like Scrooge but all of them! It’s the same shite played for weeks. For me personally there’s isn’t a good one amongst them all and I just stick to my own playlists throughout November & December

Oh, I've thought of another one that can get in the bin. Elton John's step into Christmas. Yuck.

He is currently on an advert for Charlotte Tilbury make up on TV with this playing, Elton in sparkly suit and lots of models including I think, Kate Moss. I tend to switch over or mute it if possible.

There is one song I don't mind, The Eagles, Come Home For Christmas, doesn't get played that often so it's not worn out its welcome yet.

I did say, further up, that I hate Christmas songs. After reading so many people mention the Pogues though, I have to say it's one the best. An antidote to the saccharine shite that everyone else pukes out year after year.
