Just a bit of fun but what are your worst christmas songs that make you turn the radio off?

Heres my top 3:

Paul McCartney - wonderful Christmas time.
Beach boys - little saint nick
The waitresses - christmas wrapping

Jonah lewie, God love him RIP, won't hear a word against any man who manages to get a song referencing the nuclear fall-out zone to become a Christmas classic, especially because as far as he was concerned he didn't write a Christmas song at all.

Beach Boys...Little Saint Nick. The 'run run reindeer' part specifically. And 'he don't miss no one'. Unless I'm stuck in the queue with a trolley I'll turn around and walk right back out of a shop if I hear it starting!

Don't mind Jonah Lewie song, but the video shows a WW1 setting and then mentions nuclear war .. a mixed up Christmas song !

I love ' last Christmas' but by the time it's new years it is time for it to go into hibernation again ( ditto , so they know it's Christmas, but then again I remember it the very first time around and all the other remakes)

Little Jimmy Osmond shreiking out "Little Drummer Boy" . It came on in Sainsburys while I was doing my main Christmas shop one year so I wouldn't leave , I had to bung my ears up with tissue and hum loudly .

And the utter arsewipe atrocity that is Ronan Keating blatantly ripping off and butchering "Fairytale of New York" You;re cheap and you're haggard

I hate them all, but I don't hate Christmas, just three weeks or more of the same old suspects played every day on the radio.

I even heard Cher singing on R2, something about a DJ playing a Christmas song so she could dance all night.

East 17, Stay Another Day, is dire in my opinion. Not Christmassy at all!

Having lived in Africa in the 80s yes, we did know it was fucking Christmas and we had a great time…oh and we were happy there wasn't snow.
Africa is not a country.
Africa is not Ethiopia in the 80s.
Other religions exist.
Only white singers were available to sing lead apparently.

Always thought this song was patronising, privileged drivel. Hate the line ‘thank God it’s them instead of you’- WTAF.
