Anyone Heard Back From 2024 Wimbledon Ballot Yet?

Hello All

I am wondering whether I am going to be successful in Wimbledon Ballot for July 2024. My account says "You have not been successful yet" which is so far so good, obviously.

It would be good to hear if anyone has been allocated tickets yet or if there's a while to wait. I am pretty sure it was around this time last year I got my allocation email.

Thanks

I assume they are going out to all ticket holders, which I why I thought it might prompt a few people to do returns.

Hi,
I got two tickets on finals day(14) for No1 Court. Just wondering if anyone knows if the Ticket Resale Kiosk is still open on finals day to purchase resale tickets for Centre Court, obviously chances are slim, but you never know! And also, anyone actually being successful in securing these for Centre Court on mens final day?Tia

Clarkey54 · 31/05/2024 17:22

I would say it would be open. I didn’t think that tickets were still been given in the ballot

Clerky · 31/05/2024 20:43

It was in the returned resale ticket link I somehow saw them...no1 court ... will be wheelchair finals as well as under 17's as far as I know, but obvs would be love to get men's final tickets from the returned tickets kiosk within the grounds...know though, its a long shot, but if its open at all,I'll atleast try😊

Chouxpastryishard · 31/05/2024 20:56

I haven’t had any communications at all. Is that normal? How do I check resales?

Clarkey54 · 01/06/2024 01:32

Hi clergy better than nothing. I was in the ballot for Wimbledon but but I ended up getting tickets for the queen’s final in June. Check the Wimbledon website or phone them

Clerky · 01/06/2024 16:50

Hi Chouxpastryishard,

I got an email on 23rd March with links to returned tickets section, the queue info and tours booking,so was checking that link for returned tickets sporadically. Check back on your emails,if you were in the ballot to begin with. You should've rec'd it.

Clerky · 01/06/2024 16:53

Clarkey54, I might just do that!Ohhh,that's great!Enjoy the Queens final...that'll be brilliant!

Clarkey54 · 02/06/2024 12:08

Thank you as far as I know tickets available for queens 400 sterling I paid 150 sterling in April

I have checked but nothing. It’s strange.

Good morning everyone. With the ballott I purchased 2 tickets for Saturday July court 1, sector 11. For personal reasons my companion will not be able to attend the matches. So if anyone is interested in 1 ticket please contact me or write a reply. Thank you all

Hi all. I managed to get two tickets for court 1 on day 5 through the resale site! It's the first time we've been and my 16 year old DD and I are so excited. I've looked online but can't see, if you have show court tickets, do they double as ground passes? Can we go early to see the warm ups on the outer courts? And is there any list of who is warming up where? My DD's favourite is Ons so will be on the look out for her but excited to see anyone really. Thanks!!

Yes, with show tickets, you can wander about and watch anything that's available to Ground Pass holders. You won't get into Centre Court, but pretty sure you can get into Court 2 and deffo all others.

Have a lovely day!

Rocknrollstar · 30/06/2024 13:29

We enter the Wimbledon Ballot but also pay to belong to the LTA who also have a ballot. We got returns through them and are going to Centre Court on Tuesday.

Just to add to the other reply you got, your tickets won't get you into court 2 or Centre court, but they will get you into into courts 3 to 18. On day 5 it will be 3rd round matches happening on those outside courts, not warm ups. The order of play will tell you which matches are on which court. Players will be warming up on the practice courts, near court 1. There is a viewing platform which allows you to see some of the practice courts. Have fun!

What's so frustrating is seeing so many empty seats on TV !

Clarkey54 · 03/07/2024 06:05

I agree they are corporate seats bought and not filled

PurBal · 03/07/2024 06:19

@ThePoshUns @Clarkey54 not just hospitality, debenture too. Those people spend tens of thousands to be guaranteed a seat. They can sell them if they want, or not 🤷‍♀️. Also if you’re a member of the AELTC you get your own seat on Centre Court that only you can sit in, but the members don’t go everyday or to every match.

ThePoshUns · 03/07/2024 07:40

It's so unfair!

Manyandyoucanwalkover · 03/07/2024 10:33

It’s frustrating to see all those celebrities sitting there. Of they didn’t need to go in a ballot!

Misslbee · 03/07/2024 13:38

We were lucky enough to be on court number one yesterday, first time I've been lucky to get tickets. Opposite us there was a whole block of maybe 40 seats that remained empty for the whole day apart from about 6 people. What a waste of someone else's enjoyment! There were other whole rows empty too for the day. I was so shocked as I thought it would be completely full with the demand there is for tickets.

Clarkey54 · 03/07/2024 14:26

I agree it’s unfair
