I drive an A Class as a family car. DH had to go all fandangled and get top spec, but even the basic model is pretty lush and wouldn't be affordable as a first car for any parents I know....

My 1st car was a yugo 45, no radio, no power steering, breaks were either stuck or falling out. Happy days. A l9mg way from any Mercedes.
