Presumably because the relevant parties have not yet reached a deal to open the border- controlled by Egypt and Hamas. That is what is reported in the reliable media.

They are waiting whilst people are dying because 'the relevant authority' is Israel who isn't agreeing to safe passage of the convoy - all the other 'relevant authorities' agree it should pass into Gaza

As Israel as far as we know don't have a military presencel at the Gaza-Egypt border the only way that they can stop the convoy is from afar ie using missiles or bombs

It's a matter of logic as much as anything

They should have a ceasefire. Evacuate and send aid to civilians and those injured in hospitals. Meanwhile somebody needs to negotiate with Hamas to release the hostages and surrender.
Who will they listen to? Who? These are terrorists. They don't care about Israelis and they also don't care about Palestinians.
For all those srraming ethnic cleansing you need to step back and put yourselves in the shoes of innocent people whose family members including children have been held hostage.
