Right so it’s being described as Baroque because whoever is writing it is from the 18th century and can’t figure out how to upload the story

I have no idea what he might have done. But I see no evidence that the allegations are true.

Truemilk · 16/09/2023 16:51

Wouldn't a documentary about this fuck up any sort of legal course against him for this in the future?

RamsesTheChub · 16/09/2023 16:51

squareyedannie · 16/09/2023 16:45

@RamsesTheChub
I don't think I mentioned rape?

Sorry, yes misread or rather read more into 'ripe for abuse' than you meant - though I think the point still stands.

Saying girls were throwing themselves at him is not saying they deserve to be abused.

Figgygal · 16/09/2023 16:08

If they have evidence of criminal wrongdoing then why not take it to the police?
So now looks like another unsavoury salacious trial by media and social media.
Yuck I'm out

This.

Not even the text where he apologises for raping someone?

Are you privy to what the journos have dug up?

Creative34 · 16/09/2023 16:53

MotherOfGodWeeFella · 16/09/2023 16:48

@Creative34 - reporting sexual assault is difficult. Often there is no physical evidence, it's circumstantial. The process on top of the trauma means many, many cases of sexual assault and rape go unreported.

This exposé is the tip of the iceberg. This behaviour is more widespread than we might like to believe.

I mean the only thing the text confirms is that he didn’t wear a condom so there is was a lot of dna evidence..

YapYap2023 · 16/09/2023 16:53

I'd wonder what actual news they want to bury this weekend.

This is barely news.
"Celebrity is a rapist"
Well, aren't a lot of them?

ThingthatgoesFFSinthenight · 16/09/2023 16:53

Lifeomars

I agree. I hope RB’s victims get justice, but we need our good investigative journalists to be exposing the dreadful corruption and damage being done by the current government. The trouble is we would just all roll our eyes. It wouldn’t have three full threads on MN in the space of 48 hours.

topnoddy · 16/09/2023 16:54

What happened to all those other people who were involved with this then ?
Yesterday there were at least 4 more

The same as what's happened to a those is Epteins little black book, no doubt.

Journos are pretty much lowlife scum as well , anything to get the "story" bollocks if it's the truth or not as long as it gets the headlines

user9630721458 · 16/09/2023 16:56

@EmmaPaella Only read the dm article so far. Does the text clearly state rape/or equivalent or is the meaning ambiguous?
@squareyedannie No, I will try to stay updated. But as it stands no evidence has been presented?

EasternStandard · 16/09/2023 16:57

Wondering what happens next

Is there an arrest or is it that he’s ‘cancelled’ and media have taken him out

Saucery · 16/09/2023 16:57

Today’s No Shit News Story then. Once again, organisations covering up for the ‘talent’ and ignoring the voices of female victims.
There will be more in the future. There’s always more. In entertainment, music, media, sport…..hunting grounds for abusive men.

RedAndWhiteCarnations · 16/09/2023 16:58

@Creative34 in your world a woman’s word about rape is only valid if she is reporting it?
isnt that at the same level then ‘she asked reception to call the police but she was smiling then so she can’t have been raped’ type if discourse?

Come on the reasons why one would not report the rape of someone who is famous, known to have sex with many women etc…. Is quite obvious no?

User342465662 · 16/09/2023 16:58

Pretty certain that RB's Youtube channel will get shut down fairly soon. So if there are any journalists reading this, take all the screengrabs and download videos now before they are gone.

Google have very low tolerance for right wing conspiracy nutters and most creators in that genre get pushed off the platform eventually. They haven't banned his content so far because it doesn't directly breach any guidelines but they will definitely cancel him after this expose.

squareyedannie · 16/09/2023 16:59

@topnoddy
I was wondering what research they had done to be able to say they could see no evidence.
Obviously, we don't know either way at the moment.

There is a share link up thread - it's a pretty horrible article.

milafawny · 16/09/2023 16:59

The only part i found shocking at all is the mother that willingly left her 16 year old daughter with an adult male after he seemingly forcibly kissed her on the mouth in front of her daughter. I have 3 teenagers and over my dead body would i have driven off and left them with a adult male at 16 years old, regardless of who that man is or who much my daughter protested.

But the rest of it, im not shocked to hear that is how he treated women around him

MsLavender · 16/09/2023 17:02

I believe them. I don't care if people want to claim I'm being part of a witch hunt or that I'm being misled by the media who just wants to take him down. I believe them and I hope that they get justice.

I have also been raped. By my ex husband. I never went to the police because it would be a case of he said/she said. I don't speak about it for fear of being accused of lying, it's incredibly isolating. Does not mean that I wasn't raped and if someone came to me doing an investigation into ex husbands crimes and I found there were even more women then I would, after all this time, speak up.

Lifeomars · 16/09/2023 17:02

OneFrenchEgg · 16/09/2023 16:49

I've just read the times article. I feel like I'm so jaded by male predatory behaviour. It didn't even shock or surprise me. I'm 50. I've met so many men who want or assume sexual interest at work, in hospital as a teenage patient, in bars - it's almost like fending off men is part of womanhood.
I can think of several sexual encounters that now I know weren't consensual - I gave in and had sex because it was easier or safer. And I know I'm not alone. Ive been assaulted.
He's yet another on the long list. At the criminal end.

So true and so sad. We have to shape and manage our lives trying to avoid predatory males. I was molested by a doctor at age 15, beaten and sexually assaulted by a man I met in a club when I was 25 ( I never reported it because I had been drinking and he attacked me while walking me home). I have fended off male colleagues, a dodgy taxi driver, and a few years ago I was seriously sexually assaulted by a stranger while walking home from work. Sometimes I wonder why I don't hate all men! All my friends and female relatives can recount stories about dodgy males, a close relative was raped by a work colleague. It's a continuum from the unwanted comments as a female walks down the street through to the most horrendous crimes. Of course it is not "all men" but it is more than likely to be a man.

NeedToThinkOfOne · 16/09/2023 17:02

Even if it wasn’t about him, he’s already been through the wringer on on social, on here too and countless other platforms. So regardless, he’s declared guilty. He has a young family. Yet another trial by social media first, irrelevant now whatever is in the documentary 🤷‍♀️

squareyedannie · 16/09/2023 17:03

For those saying that sexual predation shouldn't be a big news story, would you prefer it to be swept under the carpet?

301963Laurie · 16/09/2023 17:03

Can only presume this is a cover up for another news story…RB has never disguised the fact that he is a sleazy excuse for a man !
